The Challenge:
Clearwire US LLC (Nasdaq – CLWR) is a leading provider of high speed wireless internet connections. Clearwire.com was launched in 2004 with the aim of providing information about Clearwire services and area of operation besides generating leads through an online sign up process. The challenge was to make the site rank not only rank for a fixed list of primary keywords but also for an ever expanding list of geo-specific keywords, without modifying the look and feel of the site.
The Solution:
Webmarketing123 did a thorough analysis of the existing website and suggested targeting around 30 primary keywords on the existing pages. It was suggested that the company add geo-specific pages for each area of operation. These geo-specific pages, which provided information about Clearwire services were optimized to target geo-specific keywords
The Result:
Starting with just over 40 top 30 rankings in the major search engines, Clearwire today has over 600 top 30 rankings on Google, MSN & Yahoo. This includes top 10 rankings for primary keywords like wireless broadband, wireless ISP, broadband internet on Google. |
