This review is for the serious hustlers out there who are looking for that extra side money…

Or maybe, for those who are trying to create a full-time income and finally fire your boss.

You’ve been searching for ways to make money on the internet, because it seems like everyone is doing it these days.

In your search for creative (and hopefully legal) ways to make bank, you’ve discovered something called Affiliate Marketing, and think it sounds totally doable.

That rabbit hole introduced you to some guy named Franklin Hatchett and his course called Savage Affiliates, which promises to teach you exactly how to start an online business making commissions from affiliate marketing.

Welcome to the tea party, I’m The Mad Hatter, serving up all of the best insights and details in this review, updated for 2020, on Savage Affiliates 2.0!

I can confidently say that this is the BEST review out there.

If you read even 70% of it, you will think you went through the course yourself.

Why would we do something so crazy???

We are not earning a dime online by doing this review. 😉

Even if you go directly from this article and purchase everything that Frank offers (aka affiliate commission), so I can be completely honest with my review.

Other reviews out there have to explicitly tell you that they are making money if you go purchase whatever it is they are talking about…

I’m not going to speculate on how “un-biased” their opinion is in their review…

But they’ve got money on the line to lose if you don’t feel confident enough to go buy.

So, should you invest in Savage Affiliates?

Will Savage Affiliates 2.0 help you make a full-time income online?

Let’s find out.

1. What is Savage Affiliates 2.0?

Savage Affiliates 2.0 is the most recent version of the online course by Franklin Hatchett.

The course teaches people how to start an online business to make money from affiliate commissions through successful affiliate marketing.

With over 150 training videos and bonus content pieces, this course provides one of the broadest approaches to learning affiliate marketing compared to other courses.

This course goes over everything from a foundational understanding of affiliate marketing, to advanced traffic getting secrets.

Topics range from picking a product, paid and free traffic methods, and most importantly, making money… which in the affiliate world is by getting sales.

On the sales landing page, Savage Affiliates is claimed to be “The ULTIMATE BLUEPRINT that will help you start and build an online business!”

Savage Affiliates aims to teach you how to *potentially* create an income up to $10,000 or more per month with affiliate marketing using either paid ads or free traffic.

We’ll see.

2. Who the hell is Franklin Hatchett?

Franklin Hatchett, pictured below with his 2018 award for becoming a $1,000,000 earner with ClickFunnels, is a pretty well-known marketer.

He provides a lot of value to the internet with massive amounts of free content, especially on his YouTube channel where he has gained over 340k subscribers!

But, he’s also put out some other premium training before too: eCom Elites and eCom Turbo.

Both of these are why this New Zealander is rather popular in the dropshipping world.

What you really should know about ole Frank, is that he has made most of his money by actually doing affiliate marketing.

He is an outspoken affiliate for companies like BlueHost, ClickFunnels, GetResponse, and Shopify.

Some have even speculated that the students for his courses are a major source of his affiliate commissions as most of what he teaches involves utilizing these same services…

For obvious security reasons, Franklin never discloses all of his money making websites, so I am sure there are more than just what he’s been outspoken about.

He is well versed in all of the techniques it takes to successfully create an affiliate marketing business.

Plus, he openly admits his knowledge and skill limitations when he’s explaining things in the lessons.

This really helps the trust factor when it comes to taking his recommendations on specific strategies with specific affiliate programs, like using SEO or YouTube for ClickBank products.

Franklin’s not the kind of guy who simply teaches something he hasn’t actually done.

So that’s some good news for those looking for a proven path to success in this course.

3. What am I going to learn from this course?

First of all, affiliate marketing is very saturated, and can be very difficult to really break through.

There are entire teams of people running affiliate sites with massive authority, so the competition is insane.

Yet, Franklin gives you a really strong foundation and strong tips that could really help you to breakthrough.

Plus, the skills and insights that Savage Affiliates teaches really can help you on any level of affiliate marketing execution.

This ranges from how a complete beginner can make their very first sale, to advanced tricks for the seasoned affiliate marketer.

Franklin really aims to teach you how to be successful in affiliate marketing long term, because that’s how you should be focused if you really want to make affiliate marketing work.

And of course, all of this is backed up by Franklin’s personal experiences.

He even shows you some of his affiliate earnings and results, plus those of some of his students.

What I was really impressed with is the fact that he always presents very helpful information for those who are starting out with little or no budget.

Here are some other takeaways from this course:
  • General concepts of affiliate marketing
  • How to find your niche and product
  • How to pick an affiliate program
  • Understanding free and paid traffic types
  • How/when to use Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO traffic, and YouTube Videos
  • How to build a website/landing page
  • How to use email marketing in affiliate marketing
  • How to track your key business numbers (sales, offers, conversions, traffic, etc)
  • Understanding business tax forms
  • Plus much more

4. Difference Between the Standard and Super Version?

Below you’ll see the breakdown of the differences between the standard and super packages directly from the Savage Affiliates sales page.

The biggest difference is for $100 more you can get:
  • ClickFunnels Affiliate Lessons
  • Done For You Affiliate Funnels
  • Pre Made ClickFunnels Funnels
  • Launch Jacking Affiliate Lessons
  • Web Hosting Affiliate Lessons

5. Savage Affiliates 2.0 Modules & Course Curriculum

The outline of the course curriculum will depend upon which version you purchased.

The Standard version of Savage Affiliates does not include the modules on ClickFunnels, Launch Jacking, Web Hosting, and the done for you swipes.

As Franklin explains in a video in the introductory section, he essentially teaches affiliate marketing in two separate parts: skills and platforms.

Savage Affiliates 2.0 modules

For example, there are modules specifically focused on how to build a website that will be used for affiliate marketing, as well as a module on how to organically rank that website on Google with search engine optimization (SEO).

However, there are also modules devoted to specific platforms such as Clickbank and ClickFunnels.

Even though they sound the same, effectively using the affiliate marketplace of Clickbank will require you to have the skillset of website building and search engine optimization.

But, different skills are needed to be a successful affiliate marketer with ClickFunnels.

Module Reviews

6. Affiliate Marketing Introduction

Savage Affiliates 2.0

Intros: Either we pay extra attention to them, or we skim (if not completely skip) them.

I guess this all depends on how knowledgeable you think you already are…

Sure, Franklin’s introduction here to affiliate marketing might seem like it’s only for the newbies.

But, there are some solid nuggets that could benefit any level of affiliate marketer.

There are six videos in this introduction to affiliate marketing.

It is clear from the first video that the single most important part of affiliate marketing is traffic.

affiliate marketing definition

As the marketer, it is your job to grab people’s attention, and you will be paid a commission if you can guide them to making a purchasing decision.

This isn’t something new for Franklin Hatchett.

From the onset, Hatchett is clear to establish himself as a trusted practitioner of affiliate marketing by showing you some of his results.

For example, Frank shows a screenshot (below) of his affiliate commissions with BlueHost, which like a lot of other examples he gives, claims that he wasn’t even aware he had made that money.

franklin hatchett bluehost comission

That $1,650, he claims, is per week.

But other sources question whether that’s from acquired traffic or students in his courses…

Regardless, he’s got something right with affiliate marketing, and this introduction establishes a good reason why we should care to listen.

Franklin claims to have multiple sources of affiliate commissions, marketing multiple products, and having multiple traffic sources.

This also adds to the insights that he offers on the connection between traffic sources and lifetime of the customer relationship.

Such as paid traffic might be shorter relationships – meaning it’s more likely to receive less affiliate commissions over the lifetime of that customer.

While free traffic might lead to longer relationships – meaning it’s more likely to receive more affiliate commissions over the lifetime of that customer.

Examples of free traffic that he briefly introduces are YouTube, blogs, Facebook groups, email lists, and forums.

Franklin actually gives practical examples of how he’s been able to get free traffic from these sources.

Like creating product review videos on YouTube, like these…

Savage Associates 2.0 examples

If it’s watched, then you’ve made it into their suggested videos, and can continue warming them up.

Hatchett made his first great strides on forums, saying that at one time he got 57,000 email addresses!

How?

He grew a bunch of haters, and that helped spread his persona, which increased his traffic.

Practically, he’d post something like “How to make money on Facebook” that was linked to his blog.

Then, a pop up would offer them some free bonus in exchange for their email address.

This is the same process for paid traffic (bait/bribe for email address).

Affiliate Marketing Success Rule #1 NEVER send traffic directly to your affiliate links!

That’s sort of the secret to affiliate marketing, you don’t actually make money directly from your traffic acquisition efforts… These efforts just build an email list.

You make money from working your email list!

Why?

Most of the people you capture on your traffic efforts aren’t ready to buy. You have to lead them down the path to purchase.

That’s why SEO, according to Franklin, has a much higher conversion rate for traffic.

These people are directly searching on Google to either purchase or get more information to purchase, so they are much closer to making a buying decision.

Franklin also briefly covers the legalities of operating an affiliate site, especially in the United States.

This includes having a privacy policy, affiliate disclosure, terms and conditions, and disclaimers…

Like the ten I counted for the Savage Affiliates program, including this one…

This module is simply laying the foundation for what will be covered in more depth in later modules.

7. Module 1: Affiliate Products to Promote

Savage Affiliates module 1

This seems to be one of the biggest hang ups for people when they start out.

“What product should I promote?”

“What niche should I focus on?”

There’s a reason that it keeps people from starting, but Franklin does a good job of helping to overcome those fears.

He actually tells of how when he started out he made a lot of mistakes by picking the wrong products, niches, and platforms.

He introduces several major platforms, some he also covers in depth in later modules.

These include Clickbank, Amazon, JvZoo, and web hosting offers.

He also shows you how to find affiliate offers on Google to sell, in case you have zero ideas.

Plus, Franklin shows that you can even find new products that are launching that you can become an affiliate for.

But, his ultimate advice is once you pick, just go for it!

This is SUPER important, especially if you have a wrong understanding of affiliate marketing.

You might be making the mistake of thinking that if you have more offers out there, then you will make more money.

This was Franklin’s BIGGEST mistake when starting out.

Instead of focusing on 1-2 products, and perfecting that process to purchase, he got distracted trying to generate commissions from multiple products.

Ultimately, he lost a lot of time and money.

So, Franklin advised picking one product/niche/platform, and getting started!

Then, it’s all about getting eyes on your offers… traffic.

This process will most likely be more successful (and enjoyable) if you choose a niche that you like or already know about.

Because, you’re going to be building an audience of people within that niche by offering solutions to their problems.

He goes into details on his experience with different niches, and their level of difficulty to work in, to help guide you in your decision making.

Even though it seems super simple, Franklin emphasizes that it will take hard work, dedication, and patience.

He also adds that you should make sure that the product you are trying to market is actually selling.

Because even if you did everything right, if no one is buying that product, you’re not making money.

8. Module 2: Building Your Website Asset

Savage Affiliates module 2

If you are wanting to have an online business, there are a couple of absolute requirements to succeed that Franklin goes over in this module: website and email list.

Just like assets of brick and mortar businesses, a website and an email list are the foundation of a successful online business, like affiliate marketing.

In this module, Franklin covers the entire process for setting up a WordPress affiliate website.

He covers:
  • Choosing the right domain name
  • Plugins to use or not use
  • How to install a theme
  • How to add articles
  • Organizing your blog
  • Creating a website menu
  • Creating pages (legal, ‘About Us’, other landing pages)

Even though Hatchett does a good job of dropping insightful tips from his experiences with affiliate marketing, I think they help the less experienced more.

For example, he says buying a domain name isn’t that important, unless you are going to focus on a specific niche.

In that case, you’re going to want something that’s relevant to the industry.

If you are a seasoned WordPress user, these lessons may be worth skipping.

But, what’s not worth skipping are the lessons on your email asset.

Even though these lessons were more foundational, he really conveys how important it is to the entire process.

He goes over popular email platforms, the one he uses, and how to capture and leverage emails from your website.

This is going to be your money maker!

Keeping these interested customers engaged in their inbox is going to drastically increase your profit potential.

Franklin showed that he has a 20% open rate, with an average daily opt-in rate of 400.

That is 2,400 new potential customers every month!

You want to get really crazy?

What if instead of a 20% open rate and a “potential” customer, you had a 100% open rate and 9 out of every 10 opens became an actual customer?

That’s exactly what Franklin’s chatbots get!

And, he shows you how to do it too!

9. Module 3: Email Marketing & Funnels

savage affiliates module 3

As hinted in the last section, any online business should understand the importance of email marketing.

This cannot be highlighted enough with affiliate marketing.

Why?

The customer is who purchases the product.

Most affiliate marketers are only focused on guiding the customer to the product so they can make a quick cash out.

But, once you do all the work to get a customer to a product, then that company will be able to keep marketing to them.

Are you going to get a cut of all of the future purchases that customer is going to make?

Nope.

This is the power play that Franklin Hatchett and other successful affiliate marketers do.

They create a system that allows them to market offers to the customers that they generated.

That is why email marketing is so important, because a virtually endless income potential comes with doing it right.

And that starts with choosing the right email marketing platform.

GetResponse

Franklin starts by overviewing a few different ones, but his personal favorite is GetResponse.

There should be no surprise that not only will he teach the remainder of the module by using GetResponse…

But he also gets an affiliate commission anytime one of his students signs up.

He then goes into detail on how to add emails, create lists, create a newsletter, and workflow automations within GetResponse.

Next, he moves into how to collect email addresses using a funnel builder.

Surprise surprise, Franklin also has a favorite platform: ClickFunnels.

Guess what else happens if any of his students sign up to use ClickFunnels?

*Ca-ching*

I mean, you can’t blame the man for playing the game.

So, learn from him, and get your funnels set up to collect email addresses and pixel page visitors for future ads.

10. Module 4: Clickbank Affiliate Marketing

savage affiliates module 4

This module takes a deep dive into one of the largest affiliate platforms: Clickbank.

It’s free to get an account with Clickbank, and with over 250 different niche categories in the marketplace, there are hundreds of affiliate products to choose from!

Clickbank is one of the most well known affiliate platforms around, so it’s easy to see why Franklin would choose to cover it in depth.

There are over 30 videos in this module detailing exactly how you can start affiliate marketing with Clickbank.

As Franklin often does, he goes over the very fundamental details like how to start an account…

Or completing appropriate tax documents….

Or Clickbank jargon.

Really important for beginners, but really boring for more seasoned internet marketers and Clickbank users.

ClickBank

After that, he starts moving into the layers of details to successfully market affiliate products from Clickbank.

As mentioned before, Franklin does connect which marketing techniques he’s found to work best with marketing Clickbank products.

It’s SEO btw.

Once you’ve got a website set up, putting in the SEO work positions you for free traffic once you’re ranked!

But, he doesn’t go into real depths here.

That’s why he has a Search Engine Optimization module later.

Even though SEO is the best way, you can still use paid traffic with ads.

Regardless of traffic method, Franklin walks you through how to do the right research to position your product in front of the right buyers.

Then, he shows you how to set up your sales funnel.

He does this by walking through some live products as if he were going to market them.

Warning: Don’t try to market these products like every other lazy student who’s ever seen this training.

Use what he shows you to find your own product.

That’s literally what the entire second half of this training module aims to help you accomplish.

It breaks down the entire process into actionable steps.

Literally, starting with picking a niche (if you’re new, just one!)

Then on to finding keywords for product reviews, product comparisons, and how to articles.

Because, the next part is to actually create the content.

But Franklin even teaches you how to outsource this part of it too!

Heck, he even gives you the exact playbook for your content efforts, starting with his all-time favorite…

The 1v1 Review.

leadpages vs clickfunnels youtube search

It’s simply an in-depth article comparing one thing to your affiliate product.

LeadPages vs. ClickFunnels

Adidas Gazelle vs. Nike Cortez

You get it.

What else do you get?

Franklin not only shows you how to create the content, but he shows you exactly where to stick it!

NO, not there!

Get your mind out of the gutter, and onto the blog of your website!

Actually, like a gutter, Frank shows you how to set up sidebars to catch more attention from visitors.

One more bad joke…

Where can you find the difference between a landing page and a website?

On the menu!

*bad joke, but seriously, Franklin teaches you how to not screw up setting up a menu on your website.

He also goes over in some detail how to utilize paid ads and funnels (with Franklin’s favorite affiliate program + funnel builder that you can sign up for and he’ll get residual affiliate commissions)

I’m not hating on the man for making the most of his opportunities… just pointing it out.

Like how he uses several real examples of products/offers that he has been involved with in order to further teach tactics.

Overall, it is a pretty solid module on the ClickBank platform, with tips for any level of experience in affiliate marketing.

11. Module 5 (Part 1 & 2): ClickFunnels Affiliate Marketing (Super Version Only)

Savage Affiliates module 5

Oh man, this module on ClickFunnels is sooooo huge, that it is actually split into 2 parts!

So this portion of the review will actually cover both!

However, there is an important side note that should be addressed in the beginning, and probably will if Franklin ever updates this course.

ClickFunnels now has certain sales thresholds that new affiliates must hit with their front end offers before they can directly promote the platform.

There are times when Franklin shows affiliate links for the main ClickFunnels offer, and these are examples that new users won’t be eligible for.

Franklin, a multiple Two-Comma Club award winner, has made ClickFunnels millions of dollars in sales.

He can make affiliate commissions on any offer they have.

But for noobs, you’ve got to earn your stripes.

Don’t worry, because this two-part lesson is packed full of helpful tips from someone who’s been very successful at promoting ClickFunnels.

Quite literally, showing us an exact breakdown of entire campaigns: paid and organic traffic methods.

In Franklin fashion, the case studies not only discussed the technical elements to his successful campaigns…

More importantly he taught the reasoning behind why he made certain choices.

That’s the experience gap that newer affiliate marketers can learn from to accelerate their progress.

His real life success should serve as a motivation tool for those seriously looking to change their lives.

And that starts by learning and understanding the playing field…

In this two-part module, that playing field is ClickFunnels.

What is Franklin’s deep love for ClickFunnels founded on?

Two words: Sticky Cookie

“WTF is a sticky cookie?!”

For those who don’t know, a cookie is a digital tag placed on a website visitor that is helpful for tracking data associated with that user.

In affiliate marketing, this is how you make money from someone clicking through your link.

Most websites have a time frame on how long cookies are active after being placed.

Franklin wants to drive the point home that the CF’s sticky cookie lasts forever.

Why is this so powerful with a platform like ClickFunnels?

Because they are constantly running new promotions, advertisements, and marketing efforts to people within their sphere of influence.

So the biggest goal you should have as an affiliate marketer with ClickFunnels is to simply get someone to signup for a trial with your link!

ClickFunnels Affiliate Success Rule #1 Get Trial Signups!

If someone gets a sticky cookie from your affiliate link, goes through the trial period, and doesn’t buy anything for 50 years, you will still make the commission!

{That’s obviously an exaggeration because 50 years before this article was written was still 5 years before the very first “personal computer” and 10 years before Russell Brunson were created, but you get the picture}

This is a fact that hasn’t been lost on Franklin, and a major reason why he is such a huge supporter of ClickFunnels.

*I wonder how much in affiliate commissions he will make thanks to courses like this one…*

Regardless, Frank does a great job of really peeling back the layers on how he has become a successful affiliate marketer with the ClickFunnels platform.

There are some really cool features that he highlights in the first of the two-part module, one of them the custom affiliate commission tracking.

You can customize and track exactly where you’re winning, which is great once you start getting multiple affiliate funnels going.

Even though Hatchett covers the importance of bonus stacking and baiting, it gets interesting when he reveals his true secret to successful ClickFunnels affiliate marketing.

I probably shouldn’t spoil it, but since we don’t receive an affiliate commission for enticing you to purchase this course…

Create Done For You Businesses.

How to create a “done for you business”
  • Create funnels that people could use to sell their products who don’t know how to create funnels.
  • Give away the funnel for free… IF they sign up for a trial first.

That’s basically it.

Basically, because he has taken that core and created a BUNCH of additional features, bonuses, and overall experience enhancing elements to that core.

What’s the real secret behind Franklin’s secret?

He goes above and beyond to create an entire support system to add hella value to whoever might be a potential ClickFunnels trial user.

Like, Franklin offers complete funnel swipes and his branded content that you can use on the backend to add further value.

*Legal Disclaimer: Franklin will drop the legal “hatchett” on you if you impersonate him in any way, shape, or form. Don’t be a dick by taking these freebies and using them unethically. Otherwise, you will be hunted down and cut off from Savage Affiliates, anything involving Franklin Hatchett, and even ClickFunnels.*

THIS is what you pay the big bucks for the Super version for!

Gimme that business in a box baby!

The entire two-part module has been priming you for the potential success you could have by being a ClickFunnels affiliate…

And now you have everything you need to get started!

Right?

Well, sorta.

Franklin still needs to show you how to set everything up – don’t forget to sign up under his links.

This involves not only acquiring the shared funnels, but also editing them.

Plus, integrating GetResponse (Frank’s #1 choice for an email marketing platform) in order to set up the email automations.

Not only does he really do a fantastic job of walking anyone through exactly how to set everything up…

He also walks you through how to actually use it, covering every level of experience.

Because ultimately, once you have a complete affiliate process set up…

The name of the game is traffic.

Using the funnels that he created as bonuses for this course…

For Beginner Users:
  • He recommends using either free Facebook traffic, YouTube videos, Solo Ads (ads to other people’s lists), or a blog to drive traffic.
For Intermediate Users:
  • He recommends using either Facebook Ads or Google Search Ads to drive traffic. (Franklin offers a solid training for each of these methods in the second part of this module.)
For Advanced Users:
  • He recommends using YouTube Ads to drive traffic. (Franklin provides 5 training videos on YouTube ads in the second part of this module.)

This traffic would then get a free 4 day training that Franklin also gives as a bonus, including the email automations, which promotes ClickFunnels trials.

Plus, you would provide them with a one-time affiliate offer after opt-in to hopefully get a little money back.

However, the key to making money is by focusing long term by signing up trials.

Also, if you are running paid ads to acquire these email addresses, you will not become profitable unless you keep promoting other products for weeks on end!

Affiliate marketing is a referral business, and the lifeblood of your business is your email list.

Thanks to the sticky cookie the pressure for you to close the direct sale with ClickFunnels is completely off.

Follow Franklin’s guidance and focus on the long vision by educating and investing in the long-term success of potential trial users.

12. Module 6: Amazon Affiliate Marketing

Most people have ordered products from Amazon before.

There’s even a good chance that a product you purchased on Amazon provided an affiliate commission for one of its associates.

In this module, Franklin shows you exactly how to become that associate, collecting your own affiliate commissions.

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Amazon pays commissions to their “associates” based on category of the purchased item.

These commissions are typically lower than other platforms, which requires much more traffic to really generate green.

Franklin tells us that in spite of this, thanks to some Amazon features, you can still make some good money doing this.

The first is the cookie feature, which tags anyone who clicks through your affiliate link for 24 hours, and all sales made during that time you earn a commission on.

They are also tagged with a 90-day cart tracker, where if they placed the affiliate item in their cart and didn’t purchase it until 89 days later, you earn a commission.

The second thing Franklin points out is that Amazon does an amazing job of offering other purchase options.

amazon shopping

Referring to the “Sponsored Products,” Frequently Bought With…Products,” and the “Recommended Products.”

Now, Frank does a really good job of breaking down some affiliate websites for Amazon products.

One thing that is noted as being more important for affiliate marketing for the Amazon platform is the quality and layout of the affiliate website.

Since the profit per conversion is so low, your website needs to be at the top of its game in order to increase conversions.

Out of the two different types of sites he mentions that you could build, structure is important for both.

Why?

Franklin says to create relevancy, to spread link juice (power from backlinks), and to help Google understand/crawl the website better.

Hatchett states there are two different types of sites that you could build:

Niche Site

  • A micro-niche site with a specific focus and limited products to that focus.
  • 10+ Articles
  • Easy to rank
  • Less backlinks needed
  • Easy to structure
  • Best way to start in affiliate marketing

Authority Site

  • A massive review site that has numerous products, regardless of niche.
  • 50+ Articles (at least)
  • More difficult to rank
  • More / higher quality backlinks
  • Complex site structure
  • Not recommended when first starting out

Franklin’s personal favorite is the massive review site because you can make so much more money doing it.

BUT, he advises the beginner needs to focus on a micro-niche site in order to really get the skills down pat.

This is also much easier to operate and maintain by a single person, rather than the massive review sites.

Those take a lot more resources (time & money) to get ranked and profitable.

“So, what products should I promote?”

First, you can advertise whatever products you want.

When you’re first starting out, Franklin strongly encourages you to start with a niche site.

So before picking a product, you’ve got to settle on a niche for the website you’re going to build.

Ideally, you should be slightly interested in the niche you pick, but that’s not necessary.

It would just be helpful with creating the content for the website.

This is one thing I really love about Franklin: he’s super simple.

Normally someone in his position would have created some catchy title or brandable phrase to make them seem like more of an expert.

What’s Frank’s big secret to finding niches when first starting out?

Google: best amazon products

google-search

No need to reinvent the wheel, and Franklin is straight up about that.

You’re not doing something that has never been done before…

And there’s no “secret niche” that no one knows about.

So, find what niche you want to focus on by looking at what other people are doing.

By seeing what products others are promoting, you can find the niche you want to focus on.

Pro tip: Frank keeps track of all of his research in a spreadsheet, even expounding on the content ideas needed per product.

Why is this such a big deal?

Because it will keep everything organized, including the all important buyer intent keywords.

Regardless of which niche you choose, Franklin makes it abundantly clear that buyer intent keywords are an absolute must for Amazon affiliate products!

One of the cool little tricks that he includes to expand on your research is what he refers to as the power of “for.”

By adding “for,” you can open up tons of new ideas on niches, products, content, etc.

Settled on a niche?

You shouldn’t be surprised by Franklin’s super simple methodology for finding products to sell…

Look at the “Best Sellers” category within your niche on Amazon.

Boom, you’ve found your product pool.

Throughout a couple of different videos, Franklin is constantly giving nuggets on how to pick the right products to promote.

But ultimately, you’ll need to find the balance between the prices of the products against the commission that the category is in.

Overall, his advice is to promote products that are $30 and above, especially if you are just starting out.

However, for the more established affiliate marketer and website, he adds the power play of using lower priced products simply for the amount of traffic those products attract.

There are pros and cons with the price range of products.

Franklin recommends either mid-range products or higher priced products.

So, for mid-range products ($30 – $100 prices), you’re going to need a LOT of traffic in order to make decent money.

You will also need to get hyper focused on using better buyer intent keywords.

Unless you don’t mind making chump change.

Then, for higher priced products ($100+ prices), you are going to make higher commissions per sale, so less traffic is required.

You will still need a good selection of buyer intent keywords, but it’s not as important.

Instead, you can focus more on higher search volume keywords.

Thanks higher commission rate!

Franklin also gives great examples of both niche websites and authority websites.

Often, he gives deep dive reviews, pointing out things you should pay attention to and why…

As well as what things that don’t matter.

Once again, Franklin drives the point home that there’s no pressure to do something completely new.

Someone out there has already done it, and done it very well.

So learn from them.

Be inspired.

Success leaves clues.

Pros & Cons of Amazon Affiliate Marketing

Pros

  • People Trust Amazon
  • 24 HR Cookie – Any Product Bought within 24hs you’ll get commission for.
  • Every Product Under the Sun is Available for Commission

Cons

  • High Competition = Saturated
  • Amazon Just Cut Affiliate Commissions 50% in April 2020
  • Super Low Commission Rates (1-4%)

13. Module 7: SEO Google Traffic Training

savage affiliates seo training

Previous modules served as introductions to affiliate marketing, overviews of how affiliate marketing works, or deep dives into specific platforms where you can be an affiliate marketer.

This is one of a few modules that shows you how to make it all work.

Traffic.

Specifically, search engine traffic with Google.

It’s called Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and this is the most important skill to have if you want to make affiliate marketing work.

Sure, you will learn how to run paid traffic, but that’s like a garden hose…

It only works when it’s turned on.

And that costs $$$.

SEO allows you to generate traffic organically, that converts much better because they are actively searching for you!

For those who understand SEO, you might be tempted to skip over what Franky boy has to say.

But, the entire module is surprisingly great, even with nuggets seasoned pros could walk away with.

As is his nature in every module in this course, Franklin begins with an introduction to search engine optimization.

Did you know? When something is viewed after searching for it on Google, the search results aren’t live. You’re actually looking at the last version that Google copied for its database. It’s called indexing.

Google sends out crawl bots all across the internet galaxy to find and record things for its database.

Why?

So that it can provide the best possible answers to people’s search queries.

In the world of Google, “best possible” is actually relevance.

So how can you be most effective knowing this?

Franklin says to create a “spider web” of connections that help point the crawl bots in the right direction.

There are several factors that impact the relevance of something in the eyes of Google, and Franklin’s teaching centers around a few of them:

  • Relevant Content
  • Backlinks
  • Optimized Pages
  • Fast Pages
  • Social Shares

One of the foundational lessons that Franklin teaches is the power of page speed.

As mentioned, Google is very picky about page load speeds.

According to SimilarWeb, Google was visited 62.19 billion times in 2019 alone.

Google has 92.96 percent of the market share as of September 2020 according to this website.

Also, Google processes over 3.5 billion searches per day and over 1.2 trillion searches per year.

To quote an insurance commercial, it knows a thing or two because it’s seen a thing or two.

Page speed isn’t some random rule that it decided to use when trying to produce the best search results.

Page speeds are deeply connected with user interaction, which increase relevance in the eyes of Google.

So it is super important to understand, and Franklin covers it quickly and well.

He provides some good tools that can be used to both track and increase page speed.

When determining page speed on a website like gtmetrix.com, be sure to look up the pages where content lives… not just the home page.

The biggest factors impacting page speed are your website hosting, images uploaded on the website, and plugins.

Franklin says to use a performance based hosting company (such as BlueHost… guess who gets a commission if you sign up through the training?).

Also, use an image compressing service online to reduce the file size of images.

Finally, only keep plugins that you are using, and delete the rest.

Franklin does a great job of providing a very beginner focused method for ranking a website through relevant content.

He advises to create so much relevant content that it forces Google to rank you.

This isn’t just random pieces of trash content.

This is quality content that is focused on the specific niche that you are promoting products in.

Not articles on your products, but articles in the same niche as your product.

Franklin recommends creating about 30-40 articles and then giving it a break to watch traffic.

He says that once you get about 10, you should start seeing a traffic increase.

With all of this content, each article is on its own page of your website.

This is where optimizing your pages becomes incredibly important.

Frank breaks up the On-Page SEO into 4 videos providing an overview, helpful tools, outbound and interlinking, and Alt image tags.

Optimizing pages helps Google to sort your information for the right searches…

Plus, it helps with the user interactions (which also helps Google).

For a site that has some age and significant content on it, good on page optimization can dramatically increase your rankings without having to get backlinks.

He recommends a paid tool called PageOptimizer Pro to literally tell you what needs to be done to optimize your pages technically.

PageOptimizer Pro

Outbound links help to create relevance by connecting the content of your article to other relevant content on different websites.

This provides Google with context for understanding exactly what your content is all about.

Likewise, linking to other pages on your website (aka interlinking) can provide more context and increase relevance in the eyes of Google.

Something that isn’t commonly known is that search engines can’t actually see images (yet).

Instead, they interpret images by either their file name or more commonly what’s called the alternate image text.

This is actually what is cataloged and used for the visually impaired, and can be a great way to add further context to what your webpage is about.

A majority of the videos in this module cover the most complex piece of SEO: backlinking.

Franklin helps to teach this complex topic by breaking it up into 3 stages.

These are actually the stages in which he gains his backlinks, in order to appear as natural as possible.

With the amount of data that Google has to learn from, it has found a pattern of behavior that seems to be the natural progression of a website.

Technically, backlinks aren’t supposed to be acquired, rather they are supposed to be given.

For example, a brand new website isn’t naturally going to get a super high powered reference (backlink), and G-daddy will penalize the site.

So, Hatchett teaches us to act naturally.

Stage 1 covers the lower quality backlinks that are normal to acquire during the beginning phases of a website’s growth.

These include social signals, quora links, and blog commenting.

Franklin teaches to purchase social signals from reputable companies (he says he’s been purchasing from RedSocial.net for over 4 years).

Quora is a question/answer website that is great for traffic, but also for backlinking.

Hatchett pays someone to accomplish this for him on Fiverr/Upwork, but they are free and easy to do yourself.

Most people ignore blog commenting because of the lower perceived value of getting a “no-follow” link.

But, Franklin recommends doing them manually in order to avoid spam.

If you absolutely do not have the time, you can take the risk for hiring someone.

Stage 2 covers web 2.0 links and guest posting.

savage affiliates backlink training 2

In the trending theme of this module, you can either buy or create web 2.0 links yourself.

Highlighting some good examples: Medium, WordPress (.com, not .org), Strikingly.

Purchasing content from iwriter.com is a helpful tip when building your own web 2.0 sites.

He goes through step by step how to build out the web 2.0 sites.

But, if you want to skip the whole thing, you can purchase these completely done for you.

Franklin is wild by providing the exact person that he uses for these on KonKer!

Guest posting is Frank’s favorite method he presents.

He hires people on Upwork to perform outreach, negotiate, create, and post the blogs.

Hatchett is CRAZY by providing his private contact for acquiring guest posts.

And finally, stage three covers getting editorial links and private blog network (PBN) links.

savage affiliates backlink training 3

Franklin warns that you might not actually need this phase, but these techniques are slightly risky.

They are advanced and if you don’t know what you’re doing, this could really put your operation at risk.

The less risky of the two are editorial links.

Frank “Money Bank” Hatchett also purchases these, and directs them to the homepage using branded anchor texts.

PBNs are much more risky because they are considered a blackhat method.

If set up correctly, the chances of getting shut down by Google are a lot lower.

However, if done incorrectly, everything associated with the PBN could be severely penalized.

So, once again, Frank’n rank’n buys his PBN links from a private dealer…

And he’s clearly had too much to drink because he reveals his source.

If you do plan on building your own backlinks, Franklin does cover the proper way to use anchor texts.

Thankfully, he covers this for every stage mentioned before.

14. Module 8: Free Traffic Training

savage affiliates free traffic module

This is Franklin’s free traffic jam…

He has started several profitable affiliate ventures by using free traffic.

From the beginning, he does say that you have to enjoy getting free traffic…

Otherwise, it’s really going to suck.

By that, he advises that it is much better to get into a niche that you are actually interested in or have a passion for, rather than just trying to make money.

This is because you will be building an audience, and doing that will require creating a lot of valuable content.

Frank warns that it’s a lot of work to gain free traffic, but it is the highest converting traffic that he has gotten.

If you’re just starting out, pick either free traffic or paid traffic methods, and stick to that one until you’ve gotten really good at it.

He recommends that if you aren’t interested in SEO or paid traffic, this is the easiest place to start.

This module covers 4 methods of getting free traffic: YouTube, Forums, Blog Comments, and some social accounts.

Hatchett has 340k subscribers on his personal brand channel on YouTube!

He also has experience growing multiple YouTube channels with other personas, in other niches, and for other people.

Frank’s really high on YouTube, and it’s current value in social currency.

If you’ve read this far, you’re much better off than most of society!

Thanks to decades of television conditioning and the prominence of online streaming, people have been conditioned to passively consume content.

Watching videos is so much easier than reading!

YouTube Myth #1 “I have to have a bunch of subscribers to have good traffic.”

YouTube is actually the 2nd largest search engine on the planet (and owned by the first – Google)!

Plus, Franklin’s expertise really shines through by pointing out the current competition between YouTube and Facebook.

Both are working hard to keep you on their platform.

He uses his own data to back up the changes he’s noticed in the YouTube platform over the last few years.

Previously, YouTube traffic came from returning subscribers.

Over the last several years, Franklin has seen a change towards a more search based traffic source.

franklin hatchett youtube stats

As you can see, over 50% of all of his traffic on the Franklin Hatchett YouTube page is from either suggested videos or search!

YouTube Myth #2 “I have to post everyday.”

Again, Frank debunks that by providing an older screenshot where he is still getting new subscribers from.

Now, Frank “the YouTube Tank” obviously has a very established presence with tons of content already.

So it is A LOT easier for him to not post as often, and still get floods of new subscribers.

But, who better to learn from than such an O.G.?

Before you start a channel, YouTube Master Jedi Hatchett says you must decide what your goals are with it.

Do you want to get blog traffic?

Do you want to get traffic directly to an affiliate link?

Do you want traffic to amazon reviews or links?

Would you want to build an email list? (Frank’s affiliate mastery secret)

Remember: using a platform like YouTube for affiliate marketing is using it as a traffic platform.

So it is best to have a plan in place as to how you are going to accomplish that.

Franklin then does what Franklin does best…

Well, maybe not best because he’s apparently a pretty good affiliate marketer.

Hatchett covers absolutely everything you would need to know to start and build a YouTube channel.

He breaks down exactly how to either create videos (with or without having to show your face)

Or, you can even purchase explainer videos on Fiverr.

Then goes over traffic sources, ranking factors, and helpful tools to analyze video data.

He covers how to think and find the right keywords to help boost your search traffic.

Heck, he even covers how to properly compress and optimize the videos for upload.

The secret sauce that he includes in this module are how to get suggested videos while you’re still a small channel.

He rounds off the YouTube training by properly placing an affiliate link.

Hint: bitly + hide it in the show more section

Franklin found a way to high-jack traffic from the SEO successes of forums because he said he was “a lazy bastard who didn’t want to do SEO himself.”

Sounds like a great way to find shortcuts.

Essentially, you’re piggy backing the organic power of the forum to draw traffic from the forum to your site.

It takes time, and you must be active in them.

He recommends finding 2-3 and becoming active in.

For example, he mainly got all of his traffic by being active on affiliatefix.com, digitalpoint.com, and blackhatworld.com.

He started by commenting on other threads, and had a signature space that contained links to his websites, profiles, email lists signups, etc.

Bottom line, if you provide value, traffic will follow.

A great example of this provided in this training is Quora.

Though Franklin has people he pays to do this now, he found great traffic by providing value to questions on Quora.

He wraps up the free traffic module by showing how to use viral instagram traffic.

His example was woodworking, which is a viral niche on instagram.

Sharing viral content is a great way to build up a big following.

Don’t be a punk, just give credit to the original poster.

15. Module 9: Paid Traffic Training

savage affiliates paid traffic module

In this module, Franklin spends most of the time going over Facebook Ads and Google ads.

Then he gives you a good introduction to solo ads as well as YouTube ads.

He starts off with a very important distinction between success and failure in running ads between Facebook and Google.

For instance, ads on Google appear because someone is searching for an answer.

However, on Facebook, ads are placed in front of people.

So Franklin really digs into identifying the person that you are trying to advertise to.

Frank’s example is to run a Facebook ad to people who are interested in Mailchimp offering them some sort of free email related checklist.

This gets them on your mailing list, where you send them 2-3 free training emails with immense value.

Next, send them info for perhaps a training on a better emailing platform than Mailchimp, and with the training provide an affiliate link.

Then, over the next several weeks, slowly start the process over with other potential topics like “how to get more leads.”

Ultimately leading to more affiliate offers.

It’s a long game, but Franklin says that’s more successful than trying to get a ROI immediately.

This is because you are consistently providing value that is customized to your ideal buyer.

franklin hatchett facebook ads results

Maybe you weren’t aware of Franklin’s experience in this area, but he is fairly knowledgeable with facebook ads.

Since he is really successful in the dropshipping world, he understands how to target your ideal buyer.

He relies on his combined experience from eCommerce and affiliate marketing to give an in-depth presentation on Facebook ads.

Well, it’s really in-depth for those just starting out, or who are loosely familiar with running FB ads.

He does a good job of steering away from any technically advanced tactics.

Hatchett covers the basics like creating a Facebook page to run the ads, and how to install the tracking pixel.

Then he goes over different campaign types, and how to actually create an ad.

Finally, Frank teaches you how to understand the ad data, create custom audiences, and even use budget optimization.

Overall, if you’ve never ran Facebook ads before, this is a great start.

franklin hatchett google ads results

It’s the same rundown with Franklin’s lessons on Google ads.

He covers all of the technical aspects of setting up a campaign, like the pixel.

But he mostly does this per the campaign types he says you’ll mostly use in affiliate marketing: search ads ~ or ~ video ads

The main ad will be a search campaign for traffic purposes, and it’s really easy to set up.

Franklin does mention that he does not run any paid traffic to amazon affiliate sites.

I suspect because it would be a huge waste of money due to the lower affiliate commissions.

He does a good job of introducing YouTube ads, including creating custom placements.

This is one of the cooler features of running video ads on Google is the custom placement feature.

You can choose specific pages and/or videos where your ads show up!

Especially if you partner this with creating custom audiences, Hatchett really shows the potential power of Google ads!

He also does a great job of explaining how to read the data that Google provides, and maybe more importantly what’s not important.

This is quite important when it comes time for further optimizing and scaling.

Even though it is much easier to scale with Google ads than Facebook ads, it’s still important to know you have a successful campaign before dumping more money into it.

Frank covers more tips and tricks that can really help you further optimize and scale your campaigns.

But scaling ads with Google can be as simple as increasing your budget and following recommendations.

16. Module 10: Launch Jacking and Web Hosting (Super Version Only)

First up, the launch jacking affiliate method blueprint…

savage affiliates launch jacking training

For all of those who are new to affiliate marketing or who have yet to turn a profit…

Listen up!

Want to find out how to rank for keywords that don’t even exist yet?

It’s like getting a head start on a race that most people don’t even know has started yet!

(Except for the people who have. Then it’s one helluva race to the finish line in order to get paid!)

That’s launch jacking.

Franklin said that when he got started in affiliate marketing, he found fast success with launch jacking.

He said he was making $50 – $200 with small launches, $400+ with medium launches, and $1,000+ with big launches.

But, there are really big launches that include tons of prize money.

The example he gives is over $16,000 in total prizes for leading promoters!

Franklin addresses the two biggest questions that he gets when it comes to this method.

First, “how am I supposed to write a review article for something that I don’t have access to?”

His response is you can either send the affiliate informational page to a writer and pay them to do it.

Or ask the vendor for a review copy.

Do you want to bet what this cash flushed New Zealander does???

The second question is, “how do you get accepted as an affiliate?”

You sign up with an account on the platform that they are running affiliates through (the example was JVZoo).

Then, Franklin recommends letting the vendor know that either you have a blog you would like to do a review on, or have a list you’d like to promote it to.

He says that 9 times out of 10 this will get you approved.

If they don’t then find another product.

Frank ‘n’ Beans then shows you exactly how to place the article on your website.

He also shows you how to add your site to Google search console, and submit the new article for indexing.

But the biggest secret to finishing the race of launch jacking is bonus stacking.

Most affiliate platforms have a bonus page generator that is created with your affiliate link.

Also, you can sign up for what’s called PLR products that you can get licensed to either sell or give away for free.

However, keep the bonus stack to a maximum of 7 bonuses.

When you combine bonus stacking with getting traffic from YouTube, you’ve got a recipe for success according to Hatchett.

You want to know what else is a recipe for success according to Frank?

The second bonus… the web hosting affiliate blueprint.

A surprising stat that Franklin mentioned was that there’s a new website/blog being started every second of everyday, and they all need a hosting platform.

Also, due to the nature and longevity of website hosting, even though the price to sign up is a few dollars per month, the platforms pay surprisingly good commissions.

This is because they know that they will make that money back and then some over the lifetime of the deal!

web hosting savage affiliate training

The hosting platform that Franklin promotes is BlueHost, and that’s what he recommends.

With just one account (he says he has multiple accounts), he unknowingly made $3,740 in one month.

franklin hatchett blue host comissions

But he also showed an example of a guy who makes about $27k per month in BlueHost commissions!

Since BlueHost is Franklin’s choice, he teaches from that perspective.

Signing up to become an affiliate is quite simple and straightforward.

He teaches that there are essentially 2 methods to promote hosting.

The beginner method and the best way to get started is to compare web hosting platforms.

Sign up as an affiliate to multiple platforms, and then create review videos for them.

(Remember: unleash the power of “for” in order to unlock keywords/content ideas)

That way, you can essentially get commissions on every platform!

The advanced method is an extension of the comparison, by creating tutorials…

Or incredible reviews like this one!

It’s a bit more advanced because it requires a bit more to pull off effectively, and Frank does a good job going over it.

The goal is to create an authority website based on website building, WordPress, or other niches relevant to someone needing to find a hosting platform.

On this, you can create dozens of authoritative content pieces, and it can rank organically.

Eventually, Google will begin to position you as the authority in the marketplace.

Bonus: Pinterest is a great place to get traffic to your blog, because there are a lot of women on pinterest who are actively searching for how to start a blog!

17. Bonus – More Videos & Free Gifts

The fun never stops with these awesome bonus gifts!

There is a 9-part course on email marketing, that’s pretty informative…

But not as entertaining as watching Franklin teach while neighborhood shenanigans are going on outside.

There is also a 3-part training specifically on blogs.

bonus savage affiliate training

Once again, lacking in the screen presence of a Sir Lord Franklin Q. Hatchett.

Finally, there’s a couple of Instagram pdfs – a training guide and a cheat sheet.

Concluding Thoughts

18. Refunds, Pricing Discounts, and Other Perks

Sometimes it is necessary to request a refund for a previous purchase.

Most of the time it is due to a sub-par product or service.

That won’t be the case with Savage Affiliates.

It’s packed full of value from start to finish, and is at an amazing price point for what all is included in this program.

However, if for some reason you wanted a refund, you have 30 days from the time of checkout.

As for discounts, it’s already priced too low so don’t be greedy.

Especially considering if the value wasn’t crazy enough…

Along with the program you get access to a private Facebook group!

19. My Final Thoughts on the Savage Affiliates 2.0 Program

Franklin Hatchett is an absolute Savage!

The man simply doesn’t quit bringing the value throughout this course.

The presentation oftentimes is unpolished, a bit scattered, and sometimes felt like we were just along for Frank’s tour of affiliate marketing after some shots of whiskey.

But it felt genuine and provided an incredibly broad range of material.

You don’t become as successful and well known as Frank in both ecommerce and affiliate marketing without learning some things.

He brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, and communicates it in a way that even complete beginners can feel optimistic about starting their affiliate marketing business.

I think not only taking a look at what he taught inside the course…

Looking at the course in the context of his own marketing efforts can really help add perspective too.

Not only is he teaching real valuable skills here, but he’s also displaying his expertise.

He’s getting scores of would be online business owners, affiliate marketers, and others paying him to market to us.

I’m sure he will be in our inboxes providing us with more value on a regular basis, and one day, he’ll present another offer that we’ll want to have.

The real life demonstration of this entire course in affiliate marketing.

Overall, it is a good investment for a beginner to get a solid foundation.

Even as an experienced internet marketer, I picked up a few helpful tips.

For the price, Savage Affiliates 2.0 is definitely worth every penny, and Franklin Hatchett is a great guy to learn affiliate marketing from.

Lead Generation Case Study: Lansingtree.com

August 20, 2019 by lppei

This simple lil’ website below (lansingtree.com) has been making me passive income since 2015. I haven’t touched this site in years. (July 2019 it paid me $1850)

In this case study, you will see the power of this lead generation business model & why it has been my #1 key to living a life of freedom ever since I started in 2014.

Step 1: Picking a Niche

Step 2: Building the Site (I use Weebly)

Step 3: Ranking the Site

Step 4: Generating Leads & Selling the Leads

Step 5: Rinse & Repeat

This business model is simple yet so effective.

Because we’re able to consistently get our sites on the most important real estate on the internet.

Which is:

#1 Rankings in Google’s Organic Search

Once you own these top positions, the phone calls start coming in by the bucket loads.

We placed our own tracking phone number on the site which is connected to our proprietary phone tracking software that tracks records every single call that comes in.

Recording of one of the calls:

The recording of the call like above, gets emailed to my client automatically.

They’re also hearing a whisper message at the beginning of every call that says “This lead was sent to you by Ippei”

Once all of this is set up, it keeps running on its own like a well-oiled machine. AKA once these sites are ranked, it generally stays ranked with very lil’ to no maintenance.

Here’s pictures of checks I’ve been getting from this tree service client that dates all the way back to December 2015.

He’s paying me 10% of closed jobs.

Because 1 tree removal job can go upwards of $5000 so at 10% its pretty lucrative.

But you can do these deals in several different ways.

  • Pay per call ($20 per lead for example, regardless of whether they close or not. Our call tracking software can do auto-billing)
  • Flat Fee (Once the biz owner can see the leads coming in, they’ll be sold on paying you a flat fee every month, it’ll only takes couple closed jobs to be able to afford to pay you $1000-$2000 every month)
  • Hybrid (Combination of flat fee & performance, Ex: $750 per month flat fee & 8% on every closed job)

Final Thoughts

This is merely one out of 85+ lead gen sites I have today.

The most important aspect of this biz model is the fact that we own the website & phone number.

Which means longterm client retention. My clients cannot leave me, they have to pay me month after month & they’re happy to.

Because they know that if they don’t pay, then I can send the leads to their competitor.

Lead Generation is crazy ROI because…

For this Lansing Tree Service site, I spent around 7 hours building the site from scratch, and another 15 hours ranking it over 3 months.

So total time spent: 22 hours

Some expenses:

  • $15 per month for tracking phone number
  • $15 per year for the domain
  • $8 per month for the hosting
  • Initial investment of around $750 to rank the site

So around $800 invested and 22 hours spent to create a digital property that’s been paying me $1200 per month on average since 2015.

That’s $14,400 per year income.

Over the last 4 years, this site has made me around: $57,600

Only expense today is $23 per month ($15 for phone number + $8 for hosting)

If we divide that by the total amount of time I spent on it, which was 23 hours.

$57,600 / 23 hours = Lansingtree.com was a $2504 per hour activity

I’ve yet to find any other online business or digital marketing model for that matter that gives me the amount of ROI that lead generation model has earned me.

This is why 90% of my online income today is with lead generation.

Linked-In Prospecting

August 16, 2019 by lppei

This linked-in prospecting strategy will consistently get you in front of targetted niche-specific prospects that you can offer digital marketing services to including PPC (Adwords) & SEO.

I learned this technique from a high level digital marketer that runs a 7-figure agency.

I’ve used it myself to land 6-figure deals.

Step 1: Download & Install Linkedofy Plugin.

Software that allows you to send mass messages on Linked-In

https://linkedofy.com

Step 2: Setup Your Linked-In Profile

  • Really helps to be niche specific here, “we’re not just any marketing company, we specialize in personal injury leads” or whatever niche you choose, just positions you so much stronger as the expert in that specific field
  • Key to appear like a real professional company, list yourself as the CEO
  • Be different, create your own logo (you can use Fiverr.com)
  • Have an action statement and be specific about it.
    • “Over the last few years our team has been producing high-quality (niche) leads consistently & predictably.”

Step 4: Set LinkedIn on Auto-Pilot

Make sure you see the linkedofy plugin in your browser

Step 3: Build Your Network

Then when you first log-in, Linked-In will give you people to connect to based on your address book. You gotta start somewhere to go-ahead and send connection invites to around 40 people (if you can).

Then send invitations to around 40 people (if you can).

Now this is where the magic happens.

The power of Linkedofy plugin.

It replaced 2 full-time VA’s plus nullified the need for Linked-In Sales Navigator ($150 per month) and it doesn’t cause your account to get suspended for spam.

Keep the message short & sweet. Your goal is to simply form a connection first.

Here is why Linkedofy kicks serious butt. It delays each message and emulates the speed of a human typing it which is the secret to not getting banned on Linked-In.

Enable Auto-Connect to automatically accept the Linked-In connections.

Pro Tip: After you spent several hundreds of invitations, make sure you’re going into your Linked-In “Pending Invitations” and deleting old invitations (like 1 month old) because you do not want thousands of pending invitations, which makes your account seem spammy.

Step 4: Send Prospecting Messages

Go to your “Connections” under “My Network”

Then hit “Search with filters”

Once you apply the filters, then you will be left with a list of professionals in the niche you selected.

You will then go through the same process of “Broadcast” using the Linkedofy plugin.

Here’s a sample of what kind of message you can send to these prospects.

So all you’re doing here is making a quick pitch to qualify for people that are interested.

Hey Attorney we have created an automated case generating system. We would love to walk you through our 15 min blueprint showing you exactly how this works. All you have to do is reply to this message and we’ll get a demo setup asap.

Let Linkedofy mass message your prospects for a soft close on a demo.

Once you get a list of people interested, begin building your presentation to present your unique digital marketing proposition.

Here’s an example me & my partner made for attorneys.

Making a video presentation like above that describes why you should be hired.

Your special proposition.

This strategy will continuously allow you to pitch directly to the decision maker day after day.

It is one of the most powerful prospecting strategy for digital marketing.

Best Network Marketing Company to Join in 2019? Top 100 by Revenue

June 7, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

This is a list of the top 100 multi level marketing or network marketing companies in the world in 2019. The following list is solely ranked by revenue.

It’s no secret that more and more people are interested in getting out of their 9 to 5 jobs and work their way into life as a business owner to increase their income.

Network marketing is a business model that has remained prevalent over the last few decades. The idea behind it is promoting and/or selling a company’s products and being compensated for it.

Almost every one of these opportunities begins with you purchasing a certain amount of their products and therefore being given the ability to sell the product lines yourself.

The price of the product you must buy is different for every company but you can expect to pay a few hundred dollars up front.

You can literally sell these products to anyone you know. Whether it be your mom, dad, sister or best friend. Anyone that will buy and use the product is an option.

Remember that you only get a commission so you won’t get 100% of the sale. Every company’s commission is different so be aware of that before you get involved.

The key to scaling your income is network marketing is your ability to bring new distributors onto your team. In the network marketing world this is commonly referred to as the “downline.”

That’s the true beauty of network marketing because in most companies you earn a certain amount of the sales that your downline produces. And anyone that they recruit to the business is also part of your team.

Every company’s payment plan is different but you’ll find companies out there that give you credit for your entire team’s sales. Others will only pay you down 10 levels or so. Be aware of that.

The opportunity to get create income based on your team’s efforts and performance is what draws many people to the business model.

Since I have first-hand experience in network marketing I understand that the biggest key to success is the ability to bring in as many team members as possible.

That can also be the toughest part of the business model. Most people run out of friends and family to talk to then they feel lost.

That’s what I love so much about our local lead generation model. It teaches people how to create leads for any business.

Finding A Rising Network Marketing Company

The whole point of compiling a top 100 list is to show you which companies have reached a successful level revenue wise and also show you if they’ve sustained it over a long period of time.

It helps signify a company with solid leadership and an ability to make lucrative and ethical decisions.

There’s a pretty cool tool out there that you can use to check the popularity of a company by finding out how often it’s name is being searched in search engines.

To do that you can simply head over to Google.com/trends and type in the name of the company you want to research.

Your looking for a company that is either rising in popularity or sustaining it’s popularity at the very least.

What you don’t want to see is a meteoric rise in the company’s popularity when it launches and then a stead drop off. Avoid that.

Above is a search I did for “team beachbody.” As you can see there was a peak after 2013 and the company’s experienced a significant fall in recent years.

When searching “4life” I noticed that the company has experienced a steady uptick in search volume and popularity over the years. This is a good sign.

If a company plateau’s it isn’t necessarily a bad sign at all. 4Life is a company that saw it’s rise in popularity over a decade ago and it has remained consistent ever since. That should be seen as a positive.

Obviously, above is an example of a company that you should avoid completely. This is a search I ran for Mannatech.

You’re going to be directly connected to the company that you choose to be a part of. There could be many reasons that a company sees a decline in popularity but most times in the network marketing world it’s because of a poor product line or unethical decision making.

Do your homework.

The Reasons Most People Fail in Network Marketing

Network marketing gets a bad wrap because it’s a really misunderstood business model.

That said, here are a number of reasons why many people who get involved in network marketing never see the success they desire.

  • everyone thinks that they’re going to get rich by asking their closest friends and family members to join their new opportunity. I’ve been there too and it simply doesn’t work that way. Even if you manage to get a few to commit it won’t result in a ton of income.
  • they don’t really believe in the product line that they’re selling. If you don’t love what you have to offer then how will you convince others that it’s so great
  • the company and brand you’re promoting and selling becomes saturated and there’s a negative vibe surrounding it
  • unethical reports and reviews about the company. This happens in every company and you won’t be able to avoid it
  • not having the ability to talk to and communicate with people. In other words, shitty sales skills
  • not using online lead gen to bring in fresh leads on repeat

Why Did I Get Out of Multi-Level Marketing & What Business Model I Use Now To Produce a 6 Figure Income Online

Several years back I was obsessed with network marketing. I was a freshman in college when I first got introduced to it and I just knew it would change my life forever.

In fact, I was convinced I wouldn’t need college anymore.

And then I got into it and life as a network marketer smacked me in the face. I got a wake up call.

It was Vemma back in late 2012 and 2013.

I went after friends and family with tenacity. I knew it could change all of our lives.

But many of them didn’t see it that way. Sure I got a few of my closest friends to do it with me but I quickly ran out of warm leads to sell to.

That’s the first time in my life I realized how valuable the skill of lead gen really was.

I sank a ton of money into the business opportunity for months and months and made little progress. I didn’t have anyone coming to me instead of me going to them.

Yeah sure there were a bunch of people in the company making boat loads of money but they all had skills that I didn’t have.

I knew a couple people that had inbound leads being generated through blogging and even YouTube videos that they were creating.

That gave them a huge advantage over me. People coming to them already interested in what they were selling.

The Multiple 6 Figure Income I’ve Built with Local Lead Generation

I learned so many important lessons through my failure in the network marketing business.

I realized that I needed to develop skill sets that were in high demand as well as resulting in a high income.

I also knew that if I could generate leads for other people that didn’t know how to do it themselves, they’d pay me handsomely for it.

Like I said before, I knew someone within the network marketing company that was blogging about it and driving traffic to his own business that way.

Once I wrapped up my network marketing career I began digging for programs that could teach me the skills I wanted to learn. That’s when I came across this coaching program, the one that taught me how to build my six figure online income.

I learned how to rank local lead generation sites like this one below. It’s a pool site that I built during my early days of the business. It’s been paying me $650 every single month on auto-pilot since I built it.

Only a few short months after going through the program I became self-employed and obviously I remain that way to this day.

I’m not trying to push anybody away from the network marketing business model. I know so many people that have seen sustained success in the industry.

That said, I will tell you that learning the marketing skills necessary to generate inbound leads for yourself and your team will be a gamechanger.

This isn’t just true in network marketing either. It can be applied to any business out there. The internet is changing the world and online lead generation is a must-have in today’s business world.

There are so many people out there that launch a business and fail. It’s not because they didn’t work their asses off but because they didn’t have the skills to keep customers or clients coming through the door.

That’s why this local lead generation program changed my life. It gave me the high-income skills that I needed to change my income and see the success I always desired.

Final Thoughts on Network Marketing Companies & Why I Went to Local Lead Gen

Let’s do a quick review of what you should be looking for when researching network marketing companies.

  • love the product you’ll be offering
  • make sure the company is on the rise or at the very least maintaining it’s popularity
  • be aware of any negative press or unethical decisions in the company’s past
  • make sure you’re happy with the compensation plan

I can’t stress this enough. Make sure you love the company you’re a part of and the product your buying and selling.

Even when you’re generating your own leads you’ll be talking to someone you don’t know about a product that they’ve likely never heard about or don’t know much about.

Your job is to show that person that your product and opportunity can make a difference in their life.

Most people make purchases based on their emotions. If people can actually feel your excitement when you’re talking to them then your chances of selling go way up.

If your not passionate then you’ll never see the level of success that you desire.

If I was looking for a network marketing company I’d start by going down that top 100 list one by one. Checking off the boxes.

Find what’s best for you.

Once you know you’ve found the right company then I’d tell you to learn some marketing skills so you can truly be successful in the business.

It’ll make your life so much easier.

It gives you the ability to generate leads on auto-pilot instead of going door to door and striking up conversations with randoms.

That’s exactly why I found so much value in local lead generation. I get to generate leads for small businesses across the US and they pay me extremely well for it.

I build a website (or an asset as I like to call it), rank it, collect and send any leads to a local business owner.

I get to build passive income and I also change the lives of business owners while doing it.

I help them generate leads using the internet which is something most of them have no clue how to do. They’re experts in their own field and I’m an expert in mine.

With these sites we utilize organic traffic through search engines. That means once that site is up and ranked, I don’t have to touch it and it keeps generating those leads for the business owner on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

I’m immensely valuable to the marketplace now. I can single-handedly increase the sales of a business.

If this sounds like something you’d like to do for your own business or other business owners you can learn more about it right here.

This is the same program that I used to build my multiple six figure income.

The same one that gave me the ability to take vacations whenever and wherever I want.

See ya on the flip side.

Ippei & Dan Review – Lead Generation Coaching Program Summary

June 5, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

Many of the readers that follow this blog even somewhat consistently know my feelings on the local lead generation business.

I’m a huge advocate of the business model because of my own success with it since I started in 2015.

Just check out this long post I made after 6 months of joining the program.

This is my post from 2015….you can tell I was super jacked up about it.

But it wasn’t my first experience with online business. I’ve been a part of other business models including network marketing before I even knew what local lead generation was.

I say that because I think it’s important for you as a reader to understand that I know what’s out there and I’ve experienced other models.

My local lead gen biz was just a different experience for me than the others and it’s the one that I ran with from the get-go.

I have one of my greatest mentors to thank for that, Dan.

Back in 2015 I was looking for other ways that I could make money online. This was after going through other models including network marketing.

I came across a lead generation program. I wasn’t too familiar with lead generation at the time but the idea and purpose behind it really sparked my interest.

At that point I decided to get on a quick phone call with Dan to get more information about what he was teaching his students.

Little did I know he would eventually become one of my closest friends.

After my call I thought about what we talked about and this opportunity just felt different to me.

It made complete sense to me and I was really excited about the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of business owners.

I decided to make the jump at that point, invest in myself, and I haven’t looked back since. That one decision to check out the local lead gen model completely changed my life.

The Local Lead Generation Model

Let’s talk about the local lead gen business model and what makes it so powerful.

The process looks something like this… build a website, rank that website in search engines, generate leads with free traffic, send those leads to a business owner and then collect payment from that business owners.

It’s that simple. Now you may be saying, “well I don’t know how to build a website” or “I don’t know how to rank a website.”

Guess what, neither did I back in 2015 and these days I’m making multiple 6 figures.

Building a website is a hell of a lot easier than most people think. Most believe there’s coding required on every site out there but it’s simply not true.

It’s 2019, not 2000 folks.

And the same goes for ranking that website. There’s absolutely a learning curve when it comes to ranking or search engine optimization (SEO) but once you do it once or twice it gets a lot easier.

Below is a perfect example of a simple website I built back in my early days in this business. It pays me $650 every month to this day and I haven’t touched it since then.

That’s right. I haven’t touched it.

It’s been passive income for me since 2015.

That’s why I don’t refer to these as websites, I call them assets. Digital assets.

It’s a lot like physical real estate. I own an asset and I rent it out to a business owner. I collect the check once a month.

It makes it really easy to scale your income.

After you do it the first time, you quickly realize you can do it a thousand times.

Another great thing about local lead generation is, well it’s “local.”

That means there’s a lower level of competition than many other online business models.

Let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want less competition when it comes to making money?

I can work with any business owner in any part of the country. There are so many markets in the US and abroad that have low competition in local markets.

The local lead gen model cannot become over-saturated because of that along with the fact that thousands upon thousands of new small businesses are launched every single year.

There will always be new business owners to work with.

That said, I believe the most valuable part of this model is the use of organic traffic. It’s completely free.

Not only does that mean you save money on paid traffic costs but it also increases your profit margins.

I don’t know about you but I like to keep as much of my hard-earned money as I possibly can.

Since my time in local lead gen I’ve been around 90% profit margins. That’s just insanity.

You’ll have a tough time finding another business that can beat those margins.

It’s all taught inside the coaching program. From building your first asset to ranking it to getting it sold to a business owner in the market.

The Coaching Program Bonuses

There are a couple invaluable perks within the program that are separate from the training.

One of those is access to a private Facebook group. At the time of writing this there are over 4,000 students in the group.

This is the ultimate source of support for any beginners or veterans building their local lead gen businesses.

Questions, comments and wins are posted throughout the day, every single day.

When I first started this was huge for me because I could communicate with and get questions answered by people who had already gone through things that I was going through.

Students post their wins daily. The group is littered with success stories.

You’ll come across many 6 and 7 figure earners that are more than willing to help newcomers to the group.

Another amazing bonus is access to two weekly training calls with Dan. Every Tuesday and Thursday in the evening.

These calls can be Q&A’s, sales training’s, technical training’s or even opportunities for motivation.

Dan’s the best sales guy I’ve ever met or come across. Also, his energy is contagious and no matter how many wins you see in the business he always reminds you that there’s always another level to hit.

Trust me, I know that from experience.

The weekly calls with Dan alone are worth the price of the program. The dude has absolutely changed my life.

My Experiences with Dan and Ippei

I came into this program and worked my ass off. My income and successes showed that in short order.

Just several months after I joined the program I started working a little bit closer with Dan.

I started providing support for the private Facebook group early on as a moderator and answered a lot of questions from students just coming into the program.

I’ve even contributed to some parts of updated training modules.

Nowadays I work a lot more closely with Dan and he’s become one of my closest friends.

I have so much to thank him for. He’s helped me completely change my life.

But he’s just one of many great people I’ve gotten close to since joining this program back in 2015.

Which brings me to Ippei Kanehara

I joined the lead generation course less than a year after Ippei did and the rest is history. The things we’ve been able to accomplish are incredible to me.

He’s my closest friend. Also, one of the best online marketers and SEO guys in the world.

We’ve both moved into a place together in California. Actually we’re about five minutes away from our mentor Dan.

We are also able to travel the world now and work from anywhere thanks to the passive income we built and an internet based business.

This is me and Ippei chillin at our Air-bnb we stayed in the Bay area for 2 weeks.

Our Air-bnb was sick

All of this possible because me & Ippei decided to we deserve more out of life and were willing to invest on ourselves to get what we want out of life back in 2014.

We’re now both multiple 6 figure earners using this local lead generation business model with even bigger things planned for the future.

This Year I spoke on stage at our annual Vegas event!

Basically I talk about how to be high performance in the lead generation business, Enjoy!

Final Thoughts

This program absolutely revolutionized my life back in 2014 to 2015. It’s really that simple.

Not only because of the income I’ve generated but the relationships that I’ve built with people like Dan and Ippei.

Having the ability to create digital assets and create passive income has allowed me to scale my income to multiple 6 figures.

These days I live life the way I want to live it.

I only answer to myself. No boss.

I take vacations to places I’ve always dreamed of going and I do it whenever I want.

I can be sitting on a sandy beach and wake up to a new payment for my leads the following day.

And my income only continues to go up but I couldn’t have done it without this program, Dan and Ippei.

If this is a business and lifestyle that sounds like something you want then you should absolutely check out the coaching program further.

I’m just a regular dude. If I can change my life, so can you.
