Store Formula 3 by Jon Mac – Unbiased Review

First off, I’m happy to be establishing the blog for you so I can share with you some personal insights and information about coaching programs on the market that – while insightful – may or may not be a good fit for you. 

I’m not saying anything bad about the coaches or their programs, but anyone who works in sales and marketing knows that not everyone is going to buy the product or service.

In fact, everyone who is in the online marketing industry started at some point; everyone here, at some point, simply started – from ground zero and day #1 – with their highest level of excitement but also a lowest leveling point of knowledge. 

I, for one, started looking for a way to generate a side income online only a short few years ago. 

The selling of physical products in the online world seemed to be quite the misnomer to me.  I had no idea what it was about, what I might be doing if I ever got started in it, or if I could be successful in such an entrepreneurial endeavor.

What I did know, however, was that I was serious about starting up a side project that could deliver some profits on the side so I can put myself at an advantage with my current circumstances. 

I was working a 9 to 5 and well… $35,000.00 per year in an urban city was less than status quo, I’m sorry to say.  I wasn’t satisfied and I wanted more.

With that, I began investing my spare time browsing the internet for information, reviews, and positive recommendations on what courses out there could get me streamlined toward the very nature of success that I was looking for.   

Imagine my surprise, then, when I began reviewing options in the eCommerce industry. 

Yes, I wanted to turn a profit and it seemed like the right thing to do since I’ve seen tons of other postings online about actual products you might get when you used to walk into a store. 

Instead, it’s easily purchased with no more than a few clicks of buttons and the delivery trucks will be on their way. 

That’s the era we live in – and it sounds both awesome and rather convenient. 

Unfortunately, my perception of the eCommerce industry was that I may have arrived too little too late to the party.  In fact… A LOT LATE!

I honestly doubt that there are any other industries on this planet that might be as oversaturated with sellers as this very idea; it’s a simple process…

You just post an ad, have people see it, they buy, you profit, bah-dah boom and bing!  That’s not quite how it happens though…

As I was scouring the world wide web for options on how to get ahead of the game – since I was serious about turning a profit, a fellow business owner mentioned Jon Mac’s coaching course on the e-Commerce home-based business option, called Store Formula 3. 

Since I knew that I needed an edge, I was willing to have a go –

I will say, for starters, that I was not convinced about this being a good investment. 

See, by the time I was turned to Store Formula 3 by Jon Mac, I had already developed a successful business online in the local lead generation space.  And what’s local lead generation? 

I’m glad you decided to wonder about what it could be since I’m happy to share that with you real quick here…

It’s a method of using free traffic from search engines to generate leads that you then refer over to local small businesses, who are happy to pay you a sliver for you to keep delivering. 

It’s awesome because I’m generating nearly $50,000.00 per month, predictably, on AutoPilot and I have plenty of time to try new things now. 

I get that not many people who might read this are going to be in as mutual of a financially comfortable position as I when I gave this a go – but I did explore Jon Mac’s coaching program Store Formula 3 and I am happy to deliver.

Hopefully, my insight can help you evaluate whether the coaching program fits your needs for yourself. 

I just think this blog post can carry more weight as an impartial and fair evaluation if I disclose that I had the disposable income available to try this program with… that’s all…

Getting to Know The Founder of Store Formula 3, Jon Mac

Originating from Vancouver, Jon seems to be nothing more than the average joe (so to speak).  A regular, decent human being like you and I, he simply one day decided to establish and own his very own company, ultimately becoming the CEO of it. 

Some non-business folks might be reading this so just so we’re clear on the natural evolution of business activity here – if someone solely opens a firm or company, it’s almost always going to turn up that they ended up in the position of being the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of that which they’ve established single-handedly. 

Moving on…

It’s not entirely clear who drew up the website that belongs to Jon Mac, but his site seems to illustrate the successful businessman as the “millionaire maker” – and a lurking question seems to abound from reading something like this…

When you end up raking in millions of bucks on the regular, is it really in your best interested to go around babbling out the secrets that led you to new heights in your industry? 

As the story unfolds, I’ve slowly learned that some people with increasing wealth believe that a higher net worth and more than sufficient income to reside on leads people to believe that money isn’t as pivotal as the opportunity to provide a product or service that makes a truly lasting difference.

A legacy seeking mindset, if you will; the value for someone in this position seems to be more intriguing to take action that leaves others in a position that’s better off than if your product or service (in this case, a training program) weren’t made available to these people. 

I think that’s actually really cool – don’t you?

Keeping these things in mind, let’s explore the whacky, awesome world of Store Formula 3 and see what’s in store for a new student. 

How Does Store Formula 3 Work – Tell Me More

Look, we’ve gotta start somewhere here. 

Of all the things I could tell you Store Formula 3, the first thing I’d like to give rise to the reality check that it’s really not something just anyone can wake up one day and start doing. 

This is just my opinion here…

Like with any business venture that you endeavor to launch, you need to establish a unique level of commitment that is as unwavering as it is consistently tended to – and I mean on the daily! 

There are lessons layered out in a strategic manner for you that requires work and the need for you to really dig in, take good notes, and study up with. 

One of the things I appreciate about Mr. Mac is that he makes this point very clear; not much of the how-to’s in this world are really going to do any good for you if you’re not about stepping up your game…

What he means is that you will need to invest both effort and time into what you’ve just paid a ton of cash for, like a coach or mentor, to lead you to the promised land (with their record training program online, or something).

Store Formula 3 opens with some core training, which renders about 4 modules to help you get started.

These modules provide exclusive student access to:

  • Exercises
  • Tips
  • Strategies

…all centered around what you’re going to be doing [anyway] for this business model to help your newly established online venture thrive toward the ambitions you’ve dreamt of achieving when you started.

In doing my best to avoid giving away any of the industry secrets or explicit details about this coaching program, but I will openly claim what I had learned the hard way in my previous business endeavor(s) – when combined with the outstanding lessons introduced to me in Store Formula 3 training modules – were what led me to the promised land and actually seeing some revenue from taking action online.

There’s a reason that I also mentioned the need to invest time – and I mean, really, budgeting your time to invest some quality effort into your investment of coaching and training. 

While it makes sense to get something that you believe will shorten the time and testing of the marketplace that it takes to arrive at the metaphorical promised land…

There are loads of new content delivered constantly, and this in addition to the already present information that you have from purchasing the course. 

Now, some have claimed that they don’t need all of the content or side tidbits of information in the program; and I agree.  I really think that’s a fair evaluation of what you’ll have on-hand. 

However, it’s always good to have “something” and not be in need of “that thing” than to be found in a pickle where you wished it was available in the program and it ends up not being accessible when you need it most. 

I remember when I was able to walk away from my 9 to 5 with my local lead gen business online, I was in need of some coaching on what to do when I went full-time in this business.

Having just fired my boss, which was a great feeling, I couldn’t sink in the business, I had to learn to swim!

Great coaching can be hard to come by, but if you have the resources at your fingertips, then when you get more time to your day and the ability to review what content might help you, it’s a great asset to have in your corner and easily reached with a few keystrokes and your fingertips!

What’s stupendous about the unique design of Store Formula 3 is exactly that: you can cherry pick the valuable items in the training program that you believe would be a good fit for your unique circumstances – and you can simply disregard the things that you don’t need…

Of what I’ve been able to gather as sound takeaways of the coaching program, here’s what I think will benefit you most –

  • Did you know that there can be profits made in following and capitalizing on trends?  Sounds like a straightforward business principle at first glance, but what if you knew where to look and the actions to take on the assumption of what might be taking off?  With the module of Trend Mentor, you can begin to see opportunities all around you of where the money is at.

What’s The Catch to Store Formula 3?

It’s a fair question to ask, really! 

Often times, some people say that the best things in life are the items that you find for free. 

In business, that may or may not be the case.  Some people publish free content and then premium content that you’d have to purchase in either a one-off cost or a recurring, monthly membership for access to it. 

I won’t reveal the deliberate amount of the program, but I’ll simply point out that this is some epic content Jon has thrown into one basket…

It’s so good that Mr. Mac has priced Store Formula 3 way under what it’s value is actually worth. 

Concerned about the price still? 

Re-read a couple of points up above, then think of the value that you’ll be gaining by making this investment that has been known to revolutionize the lives of the people who’ve turned this information into their new successful lifestyle. 

In the end, what precious items really are free?  In business, there isn’t much and you really do end up exploring more and more the reality of getting what’s honestly paid for. 

If the value is brought and a discount is provided, there may be something to it with this type of coaching. 

Conclusion

It’s a tough call for me to say whether Store Formula 3 is going to be a great fit for me – but that’s me; you might have a different experience with it. 

I do have a concern about future students exploring this because I’d rather they not have all of their eggs in the one entrepreneurial basket if they can help it. 

If you’re looking to generate 6 figures or more online, then be sure to look forward to having multiple lines of income in the water that spit off cash flow routinely. 

The key to wealth, I’d say, isn’t saving, but expanding!

The Best Business Model in 2019 is Local Lead Generation

Yeah, I’ve personally done eCommerce and I’ve definitely had some luck with it; turned a little profit, but paid a bigger price in working the business constantly to see what my paid ad strategies were costing me and the follow-up processes with customer orders were just not working out for me.

Relocating from Hong Kong at a young age to the Vancouver area, this entrepreneur-at-heart was primed and ready to run as soon as he was out of training wheels and ready to be the innovative businessperson we have come to know today. 

He carries a strong work history – packed to the max with successes and massive wins under his belt – in turning profits online through the selling physical products (with the help of the internet).

Like I’ve said earlier, I’ve turned a profit a little in the dropshipping industry…

But I did so comfortably when raking in a hefty chunk of change in another online business venture.

It can be difficult to refer to this as a side hustle as well, since I was still balancing the customer order fulfillment duties (meaning, I still had to send in the orders) and constantly make sure my Facebook Ads were performing the way that I was okay with – and didn’t go over budget on either processes –

There really was no time freedom available when I was careful, and I meticulously gazed over every inch of that Facebook Ads graph, ensuring all the information on my spreadsheets were solid before sending them out the manufacturer to “do their thing.”

Mr. Fred Lam can be counted in history as one of the greatest coaches since he lives the business, walks what he talks, and knows the struggles first-hand of getting started. 

In my opinion, you can’t find anyone better for the eCommerce Dropshipping business because he’ll most likely have a rock solid solution for anything difficulty you can face in this industry.

What’s the best fit for me though?  It’s definitely not the dropshipping or e-Commerce business model…

I have personally seen much, MUCH, higher returns on my investments (ROI) when building out local lead generation properties which produce buyer leads with none other than free, organic, targeted web traffic.

In this day and age, with all the hubbub regarding social media, the needs for social media marketing in entrepreneurship, and the rumors that people have massively, successfully, expanded their bottom line with a consistent social media content marketing plan, there seems to be some misnomers on the idea of social media marketing in general. 

Perhaps the consensus among business owners and executive boards that might not be so familiar with the social media movement, but are directly responsible for turning profits on behalf of large corporations, could assume that they require an entire team or division of social media marketers in order to maintain pace (and par) with the younger generations and steep competition in their industry(ies).

Without a doubt, several businesses have benefitted from implementing social media in their outbound communication efforts and inbound lead generation for sales and advertising.

Room for Improvement

  • While the training can exist for various platforms, there are some basic and common sense concepts that – by the time you see them – can be regarded as already having been taught.  When you go thru this program, it’s as if those in charge of this established training project simply revisited the same topics and attempted to make the training longer by rehashing old ideas in a simply different way.  (Unfortunately, there aren’t that many variations or ways to see something in each platform, so it’s no surprise that this is a common complaint.)
  • While some major platforms in social media incorporate Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others, the Hootsuite training platform appeared to have severely over-emphasized Twitter – as was evident by the number of videos that speak more to the use of Twitter than anywhere else.
  • I’m of the school of thought that hashtag use is different for Twitter than it might be for Instagram and/or Facebook.  Even if I didn’t see things that way, I personally stand convinced that this training video series (all pre-recorded, by the way) fails to identify distinct differences, purposes, or recommendations on when each social media platform can – or should – be used.

Strong Options for Social Media Marketing Strategies (That Work!!!)

Aside from the con’s section above, there are some strong fundamentals delivered in this training course on social media.

To illustrate, one point made is to establish a good post with your current audience – as doing this is better than doing nothing at all, and is certainly more sound of an option than not giving value with a crummy post. 

There is a unique skill that can be developed, however, and that’s the ability to use the parameters and options within the opportunities to post that can reach, captivate, and draw in repeat and new audiences (alike) routinely.

One example of this is implementing viralfindr.com to expand one’s social media audience – said another way, one’s following on the various social media platforms.

Once a potentially viral image is found that is specifically relevant to your industry or niche or audience following, connect with groups (for example) on Facebook and exchange likes for their social media imagery so that organic boosting occurs – because, as more and more people refer to post, then more and more of an audience base can be reached as that image gets shared massively. 

Feeds will be filled – eventually – with the image that was once posted and viral action can take flight.

Thus, when properly executed, followers and fans come rather quickly to your page.

The Importance of Social Media Marketing: Is It Really Important or A Myth?

Branding can be one of many, countless reasons that companies choose to build their good name on the social media marketing strategies published on the world wide web – or anywhere else they can find what seems to be good advice (even if the source isn’t as sound as one might hope it to be). 

See, people are so hungry to make deals happen and expand their bottom line that they’re willing to try anything – for a time.  Further, they’re willing to look anywhere and pay attention to anyone that’s actually discussing their topic of interest or concern. 

Frighteningly, there could be no better prime candidate to be subjected to misinformation than to spin their tires following that poor advice and financially losing out on what they were hoping was going to be their big media break and attention was going to flow their way rapidly.

See, in the law of reciprocity – a concept that should be found in the notional college course of Sales 101 – social media follows this concept where you bring absolutely free value to your following first…

In return, a percentage (%) of those people that see your free content might actually buy into your service or product; when you give, there are people in this world that still feel a semblance of duty to give back to someone that has given them so much! 

Therefore, anything educational, inspiring, or entertaining seem to be the winning options for viral content on social media; these categories of postings can serve really well – and for many companies (without naming names here), they already have.

Unless you’re executing some paid advertising strategies (namely, Facebook Ads spending) on these social media platforms, businesses that seek a consistent flow of new and/or returning customers via social media marketing might be slightly disappointed with their results in short order. 

When they offer a service or product – instead of one of the above types of content – buyers may not necessarily flock to the company that is only talking about their product and how great their product is. 

It’s not about the seller; it’s about the buyers, their interests and needs!

Whether an attendee or participant of social media events or habits are present for the convenience factor, to kill time, or simply interact with friends, family, and/or neighbors through the digital platforms, the one thing they’re missing to be prime targets for business transactions is…

They’re not thinking of buying anything from you when chillin’ on social media! 

They’re just not – take my word on this…

Would you rather be spending your hard-earned business investment and/or advertising, marketing, and sales budgets attempting to figure out a great offer for your business to realize an attention-grabbing paid ads campaign that is sure to get you attention….

Though, unfortunately, the attention could still not result in your getting buyers from your efforts in the social media platforms.

It’s because the social media account holders and active users are not thinking about buying anything – let alone your specific product – conversation rates (meaning getting web traffic to become a buyer) are ridiculously low by seemingly popular expectation among business owners.

With this lack of desire to spend money, comes a progressive interest in simply consuming free content or killing a little bit of time with a habit that’s easy to shift to doing – especially with the growth in possession of smartphones society-wide. 

Therefore, to make this online marketing thing work for local business owners, you’ve gotta ultimately bring customers to a product or service whom are actively searching for that product, service, and or company. 

Basically, it’s called Attraction Marketing, or pull-thru marketing.

So instead of spending your hard earned marketing dollars on social media ads and trying to find a winning ad and target audience that will workout for what you have, want, and/or need…

The simple solution is to stop wasting your effort where people aren’t actually in need of you.

Instead, I’d like to invite you to consider placing your good name and assets in places where those seeking what you have are actually, actively, and already (of their own volition) wanting to spend money on what you might have. 

The location for this?  Google search results!

You can establish digital billboards that can rank to the top of google search results and attract buyers to your brand and/or offer.

The name of the game is Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and it’s the prime choice for finding buyers in 2019.

All you would do is get a website online and rank it for what the industry refers to as “buyer-intent keywords.”  See this image for an example of a buyer intent keyword.

The aforementioned photograph is a snippet from a real google search qwery online, and it is a prime example of the idea of buyer-intent keywords.  Most likely, someone is taking their time to find a plumber close to them because they are genuinely needing someone with that type of skill. 

Do you think something like this can have more of a positive impact on a company’s bottom line than some social media marketing and branding strategy?  

Maybe…

Maybe not…

Here’s what I do know…

When you can build a web property, and know how to move it up the Google search results listings in short order, being found as the first option for buyers that need some assistance, this can directly impact the revenue of a company must faster, and perhaps on a more massive scale (for the better).

This local lead generation business model is something that I’ve been actively building to $50,000.00 in passive income, on a part-time basis, without the use of social media – either paid or free strategies.

Further, my business currently – and habitually – facilitates the clients we have (which are local small businesses) to double or triple…

And in some instances, QUADRUPLE their net revenue, also without the implementation of any social media marketing strategy(ies). 

Some of the people I hold as clients currently have been very open and honest about advising me that they have, in fact, attempted to implement social media marketing – and they have even hired out their accounts and managing privileges to self-proclaimed, proficient social media marketers – whom failed to accomplish anything in terms of the organization’s bottom line.

So it just may be a myth that every organization requires social media in order to become a success.

Although it can help with branding and making available for their ideal customers another alternative by which they can reach out to the business and request services…

And who wouldn’t at least set them up because they’re free to open and maintain…

The bottom line for a business can be more readily impacted outside of social media use, so no – not all business owners need to engage in social media use with the hope of turning a profit. 

In many cases, they could be simply spinning their tires in mud and getting dirty without any realistic, measurable expectation of a return on investment (ROI) in terms of their time or resources given to social media. 

If you’re open to local lead generation and ranking websites that are simple to piece together, yet extremely effective in attracting buyers – remember, those are the people already looking for the product or service that is being offered – then there could be an opportunity for you to get started with our coaching program that teaches people how to do exactly this and begin profiting with this online business model.

Yes, there are more advanced social media marketing strategies floating around on the world wide web and a lot of them can be used to grow your following in various paces and to varying degrees of size.

If you keep things simple and basic for business purposes, you can do okay for yourself; however, I’d still highly recommended exploring and implementing some advanced social media considerations in short order.  

The marketplace is changing constantly, and so are the different social media platforms. 

And, as the social media platforms change little, fine tuning adjustments, that are seemingly harmless, change can help or hurt a business’ image and/or bottom line. 

So keep it simple to start, but go advanced soon. 

Why do I say this, you ask?

If you’re serious about growing your customer base…

And I’m specifically referring to more than just followers that connect exclusively for entertainment purposes…

To land a following that loyally, actively seeks you out to hand you dollars for whatever it is you are looking to provide to the buyer…

Maybe social media marketing isn’t the strongest option for you.

The alternative to basic social media strategies include…

  • Being awesome at perfecting paid social media ads strategies and having the sufficient capital to constantly test until you find a winning formula
  • Being so stellar at fabricating video content from scratch that you can get any of your pieces posted online and have it go viral nearly instantly

For most businesses, I’m sorry to say, they don’t always have these skills themselves, don’t have anyone on staff that was hired to do something like this on behalf of the company, and/or simply don’t know where to begin with both of the aforementioned points.

If you fall under one of the two categories above that aren’t the most primed to make organic social media work for you in short order – due to posting highly-engaging content multiple times a day, all day, every day, for nearly 5 years (and even then, there’s no guarantee of building something organically)…

Then I’d like to recommend that you focus on local lead generation; this means generating Free Organic Web Traffic from search results with YouTube or Google as your parent entities – since they tend to have a lot of organic traffic on so many topics that you could probably weasel your way into landing a few of those visitors in short order.

Why Local Lead Generation Has My Heart Above All Other Business Models in 2019

Online Retail Mastery Course by Beau Crabill – Unbiased Review

After working with some of the household names in retail – we’re talking large retail stores, and their authorized suppliers – like Best Buy, Macy’s, Gamestop, Wal-Mart, Target, and more…

Beau Crabill began a new style of digital marketing where he was able to become an “ungated” seller of physical products on the Amazon Marketplace’s product listings (which simply means he was given permission my Amazon to market these products).

After this experience, Mr. Crabill has stepped up his game after crazy amounts of success and chosen to compose a coaching program that guides even the greenest of newbies and the most experienced of veterans in the Amazon marketplace about the Amazon FBA Business model (which stands for Fulfillment by Amazon). 

To say that Online Retail Mastery is nothing more than another one of those coaching programs is a severe misnomer when you begin to understand who this guy is and how experienced and accomplished his resume paints him out to be…

If I were to do it over again, I’m with Beau Crabill on finding a coach that can guide me to the promised land.

Between small time, chump change commissions when the same amount of work is required to market anything through the Amazon FBA business, I’d instead choose to be one of the few that make selling big brands work for me in the long run. 

The other option is to invest several hours upon several hours of product research when no wins or profits are guaranteed, and hopefully land a couple of product launches that turn enough profit to break even, but still never achieve the passive income that we all dream of so we can work part-time and merit a full-time, substantial, long-term, profitable income.

My massive success over a short few years with local lead generation has allowed me the time freedom and financial privileges and liberties to take a risk and work hard at turning a profit in the Amazon FBA Business – and I’ve made some income, but I paid a much bigger price in terms of stress and expenses from resources and time investments.

With local lead gen, all I’m really doing is selling goods with the free organic traffic that comes from search engines by ranking products and other web properties organically.

If you’re envisioning the eCommerce self-proclaimed experts that attempt to impress you with their big sales values, login to bank accounts (and who knows if those are even real banking notes), and get expensive looking cars to impress you that high profits are a result of getting into what they’re pitching you –

Let’s bring you back down from cloud nine and talk for a moment; I was swindled by them briefly too and I get that there’s more than sunshine and rainbows on the inside of purchasing a coaching course; it’s a business, and any business – online or otherwise – takes grit and hard work to turn a profit. 

In the Amazon FBA Business model, the reality is that dropshipping and other forms of marketing physical products online may turn a profit, but those momentary successes are simply short-lived.

You’ll also have to buy your way to gathering buyer traffic if you’re new, and since these are trendy, fad products, sometimes marketing with a Facebook Ad can also turn a profit for ya. 

In the end, you’re banking on the idea that everyone is talking about the product and you’re just getting in front of prospective buyers (though, they aren’t always guaranteed to take action on the product in front of them – that you paid to have put in front of them to consider). 

What does this mean for you?

It means you’ll end up investing with your own resources (time, finances, personal and professional sacrifices, etc.), and if people in the market simply choose to stop buying your product, then there’s really no way that you can expand your efforts and attempt to repeat the level of success you might have realized early on.

The misnomer is that, even with the Online Retail Mastery coaching course and taking the advice of positioning yourself (with all that extra work) to get permission to sell products associated with big brand retail companies in and/or around your local neighborhood, the same occurs with those products too. 

Fads and trends fall off, and so does the interest in the products you’re pushing out.  It’s supply versus demand – basic economics concepts, and those large retail companies are just as subjected to those market trends as you are. 

There’s probably nothing that you did wrong in the process here; you could have followed every step effectively but the timing was just off and you got your product listing launched when no one was interested in buying that product anymore. 

It’s just business nature and product dynamics in an ever-changing world.  It’s rare for products to consistently be so hot that people want to continue buying over and over – especially if it’s not even for them but a gift for a loved one or a toy for a child.

To illustrate, picture this:

A famous video game store called Game Stop is selling a specific item in their store. 

You attend it only once in the near future, and then again approximately 6 months’ time later. 

By this time frame, you can safely assume that the things you recognized on the shelves could no longer be retailed in that location because they have been replaced with the next hottest items. 

…And that’s just the pace of the industry that we live in with retail products and the speed with which supply and demand shifts with public opinion.

The Benefits of Lead Generation as your Ideal Business Model

Having said all that, so far, anyway…

Here’s my top reasons that the lead gen business model trumps the Amazon FBA and the little money I’ve made form attempting to market physical products online through the Amazon marketplace:

  • Long-term results with local lead generation. 

Local small businesses and service providers are probably here to stay. 

The internet is probably here to stay for a long, long time as well. 

Both of these items are specifically capitalized upon to orchestrate and launch your very own local lead generation business.

Unlike physical products that follow trends and fads, local services (like plumbers, roofers, lawyers, chiropractors, and more) exist because they satisfy a need in the marketplace locally.

Often times, that means that they’ll most likely stay in business instead of being considered if and only if a buyer has an impulsive choice to go and seek the aforementioned service provider’s assistance. 

  • Hands-Free assets with lead generation properties online

I get to spend more time doing what I love to do and less time working on (or in) my business.

Why, you ask?  I’ll tell ya why…

I’ve actually begun this business model back in 2014 and produced enough side-hustle income to walk away from a $35,000.00 salaried full-time job – it was awesome walking out of that job and never looking back. 

I work my lead gen business full-time now (technically), but in reality, I’m collecting a full-time income and I hardly work on my business unless I’m launching a massive push to expand my bottom line even more than where it already is.

I can do this because the lead gen sites that I’ve established when I started (back in 2014) continue to pay me a hearty chunk of change monthly – onwards and upwards of yearly, too – and I’ve not had to go back and deal with them for years.

Now, THAT’s pretty cool!  And also something that cannot be realized in the Amazon FBA Business model; there, you’ve gotta work at it daily to get multiple, high-quality reviews – which, I’m sorry to confess, your competitors are trying to do the exact same things you’re doing in Amazon product listings to be seen ahead of you.  It’s just daunting for newbies.

However, the lead gen business is very newbie-friendly and I’ve seen people turn profits with this not long after getting started – and it wasn’t necessarily having anything to do with luck that they were able to get buyers paying them PASSIVE INCOME for their efforts they’ve done one-time.

  • More control over your web properties and the Free Organic traffic you get from the websites you own and rank in search engines

This is a drastic change from the Amazon FBA Business model, where you only get to rely on product reviews to try and climb the ranks of Amazon product listings; Amazon tells you what you can and cannot do in order to turn a profit in their marketplace.

The cool thing about lead gen is that search results are kind of like the wild, wild west of online business options, and there are a variety of methods and approaches to beat out your competitors to acquire more business – and in turn, gain more profitable and passive income.

  • Leveraging the Google search engine’s free traffic means you can have assets working to spit off cash flow your way 24/7, without your having to attend to those resources, all on AutoPilot
  • Your web properties are just that – completely digital

That means no more costs of goods sold, and more needing to figure out fees, tariffs, or the chaos of having a refund or return of goods sold messing up your accounting and bookkeeping efforts.

You also don’t have to maintain any sort of inventory or handle a retailer or supplier that could end up being a pain to work with — especially in the long run.

Additionally, the lead generation business offers HUGE PROFIT MARGINS – this is another departure from marketing physical products online. 

Instead of having tons of fees demanded of your entrepreneurial efforts that you personally put the sweat equity into getting the sale off of…

The lead generation business model grants you minimal overhead, thereby increasing your percentage of profit margins to nearly 100%! 

…that’s a HUGE WIN in my book.

  • You get to work with real small business owners instead of your customers just being another number to you on accounting software

My clients over the years have been absolutely thrilled to see me send them more and more referrals that I’ve garnered from free traffic sources online.

They’re grateful and happy to pay me over and over, and I know these people well.

  • You make a living while making a difference; you get to change the lives of business owners, their employees, their customers, and all of the families that the good services have contributed to

Having spoken recently with a good friend, who is also a reputable expert in the eCommerce space with Amazon FBA (and very successful in business too)…

He and I both agree that there are sound reasons why dropshipping and eCom, Amazon FBA coaches are pushing more and more courses regarding the digital marketing of physical products online in the marketplace.

Each coach claims to have their own coaching program and the secret keys to the kingdom, with the path to the metaphorical promised land you dreamt of when starting your online business venture.

The reason for tons of coaching programs is…

  • BURNOUT!

That’s right, the physical products selling industry is labor intensive and requires tons of time, attention, intelligent considerations, and tons of other issues that can surprise you at any given moment. 

There are tons of people and hands in the pot during each stage of the process…

  • The inventory is low or non-existent at the moment
  • The supplier decided to terminate their agreement to supply your goods you’re selling… or they simply went out of business and didn’t think to tell you
  • Quality in the products suffer
  • Customer service is appalling
  • Customer reviews have gone south and there’s nothing you can do about them hurting your product listing’s search results in the Amazon marketplace (which means you have to pay more in paid advertising to get seen and be considered for your product being purchased from your specific online presence, so you can get paid)
  • Amazon owns your account and gives you privileges of use in the Amazon FBA Business – which means they could choose to suspend your seller’s account for no good reason at all (I don’t know if that’s entirely true, but for reasons that can’t be quickly explained and/or rectified, your account can be suspended – putting your business model and opportunity to turn profits all on hold – and again, all you can do is wait and hope for communication to occur that can resolve the matter quickly)

…all of the above is getting dealt with by an Amazon FBA Business entrepreneur that desired to work from home, and they’re working for a measly 10-20% commission – and maybe even lower profit margins considering the tons of fees and costs of doing business in the physical products space online.

Let’s flip the script here for a moment…

The Amazon FBA Business model – especially when attempting to sell big brand products from reputable wholesalers – beats working Monday thru Friday, 9 to 5, at a job that stiffs you on wages and benefits but expects you to slave for their cause like your livelihood depends on it (because, to some extent, it does). 

However, why would you continue to do this long-term when you could be…

  • Turning nearly 100% profit margins
  • With a business model that could deliver opportunities to expand faster than you had ever envisioned
  • Faster turnaround with making profits from inception of a project

Whether you’re selling digital products or local lead generation services, the aforementioned points are simply the way that the marketplace is and reacts to each of the business models.

Conclusion

The physical products marketing and digital advertising methods have been around since the early days of eBay and retailers being no one other than individual people with stocked inventory in their basement and garage storage containers.

It wasn’t until 2006 that Amazon chose to launch their business from home model, the Amazon FBA Business, granting the opportunity for local shops, like mom and pop stores, to start listing their own assets on the Amazon marketplace.

Further, Amazon agreed to those new entrepreneurs (or seasoned pros that just wanted to capitalize on having Amazon as their marketplace) to handle inventory and shipping on their behalf. 

By 2014, however, knockoffs and lower-quality branded items began surfacing on the world wide web, and especially in the Amazon marketplace. 

People came out of the woodwork and began cluttering up the Amazon product listings with methods like retail arbitrage, private labeling, and/or leveraging overseas suppliers for these cheaper options – both in price and quality, I’m sorry to say.

Despite all of the headaches and growing pains that participants in the Amazon FBA business industry (and Amazon, alike) have handled – including suspending these short-lived misfits who’ve attempted to game the system to turn a quick buck or $2 – the consistent, well-performing products came from retail branding as the biggest profit makers in the Amazon web portals.

Thanks to Beau Crabill, you now have a training program that walks you through the steps necessary to start selling from these big brand wholesalers all on your lonesome self (if you so choose).

While many have tried and failed in the private labeling of goods, the retail arbitrage can now be a reality filled with hope and possibility as Beau holds your hand and guides you through the red tape to land a position where you can actually start taking orders and hopefully gain your first few dollars in profits online.

Local Lead Generation is the Optimal Business Model in 2019

In the interest of full disclosure, I know we’ve been discussing the Amazon FBA Business model – A LOT – and I have to say that I’m still siding with keeping with my personally developed and self-invested, high-income skills to turn a profit online.

With regard to the Amazon physical products marketplace, I’d be subjected to the timing of popular opinions in society on what products are worth spending money on.

For me, I’d rather assess the value I bring to the marketplace and allow that notional value to determine the kind of return on investment (ROI) I’m actually worthy of.

With the skill of local lead generation, I can bring more than 10 times the business volume a local service provider currently netting in profit on a monthly basis. 

Not to mention, it’s rather rewarding to get to help someone experience a positive change in their business and their life as they watch their bottom line – and their dreams – flourish. 

The physical products industry simply doesn’t carry the personal touch that you can get in local lead generation – and I actually don’t want to have buyers only be a number to me…

I’m on a mission to change the lives of those behind the brands of local small businesses.

Further, there’s a higher success rate in lead gen.  I firmly believe this since you have complete control of the assets you’ve built and own outright. 

You get to control where your web properties show up and what kind of buyers you intend to get in front of. 

This is a departure from the Amazon FBA Business model, where you are subjected to your supplier and whether Amazon allows you to be seen with your supplier’s product. 

There’s so much out of your control here that it would be uncomfortable for me to continue in selling physical products online.

Despite all this adverse talk on the physical products industry, one of the things I do appreciate about Amazon FBA is that your sales become organically acquired with free traffic – if and/or when – your product listing is found at the top of Amazon search results. 

This is a departure from the dropshipping model of eCommerce, where Facebook Ads are truly your only option here.

As always, purchasing web traffic to get prospective buyers to see your product listing just reduces your profit margin(s) that much further.

Here’s why building a business with free traffic from search engine results is truly the best, more reliable, most sustainable form of passive, renewal income that you can find on the internet in 2019:

  • Work anywhere you want – just remember to check that you’ll have internet access for your laptop prior to heading out that way
  • Work when you want – take as long of a vacation as you’d like, or even extend your stay without having to ask a boss for permission
  • Provide a Well-Needed Service — bring more buyers to local business owners and get paid a sliver to deliver
  • Some business owners don’t have the first clue about using the internet to generate more service requests – and that means you have a HUGE opportunity to position yourself to get into profit mode here
  • Low to No Competition here – you’ll have several cities and industries to select from and/or work within
  • The Fastest Way to Quit Your Job – secure your financial confidence and freedom starting today
  • Have yourself the lifetime opportunity to generate more income online in your side hustle than most doctors and lawyers make (in fact, I know some people that are making 6 figures in this business model on an annual basis — and handful that are making that much on a monthly basis, too)

I love the local lead generation internet-based business model because you don’t have to retain any amount of inventory with physical products!

Instead, you can rank and bank with web properties relatively quickly that you own outright and control wholeheartedly.
