Harlan Kilstein’s Magic Pages Review

April 12, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

Harlan Kilstein has recently created a course called Magic Pages. Your web pages don’t make any money but get boat loads of views?

Feel defeated whenever you see the words “SEO” or “ad retargeting?”

If any of these sounds like you then you should probably keep reading because this course could be exactly what you need.

Who Is Harlan?

Known for his Reverse SEO Method, Harlan Kilstein has produced more than $100 million in sales over the course of 20 years.

With his mentorship, plenty of others have produced 7 to 9 figure businesses.

Additionally, he’s written a popular book “Completely Keto Cookbook,” as well as being the owner of the Completely Keto website.

He’s well known for sharing tons of keto recipes on FB to his audience of over 600k.

Magic Pages Overview

I’ll start off by listing some key features that I was able to take from the training:

  • instead of spending all your time driving more traffic to a site, “self-select” an group that will have high interest in everything you’re selling them
  • every audience has a need, so sell them what they’re in need of
  • don’t start too big. Start with a single audience and eventually scale to the point where you’re happy with the revenue
  • don’t be afraid to change things up. Rotate selling high-ticket and low-ticket items. Even aim for the clicks some times
  • build your three Magic Pages
    • Special Report Page
    • Special Report Page for Selling Right Away
    • Super Targeting Method Page
  • put effort into building an email list

My biggest compliment to Harlan is his ability to keep things simple yet effective. He does a fantastic job of keeping his teachings understandable for the everyone.

Probably because of his background as an education. He obtained a masters degree in education.

His training is interesting because it goes against what the online marketing world has thought to be true for so long.

Web traffic doesn’t matter?! That went against everything I’d ever heard.

But when you really think about it, he’s right. If you’re bringing thousands of people to your site and they have no interest in the topic of your site, of course those visitors won’t buy anything.

I’d rather have 3,000 people visiting my site that are interested in my products than 30,000 people visiting who aren’t.

And that’s exactly what Harlan emphasizes. He spends so much time getting you to understand the importance of developing a devoted audience.

And here’s another thing. This one really opened my eyes as well.

Stop beating yourself up thinking about SEO!

What! Why? Again, it goes against everything I’ve ever heard.

It’s because the web traffic just doesn’t matter if you don’t have the right audience to present to.

In addition to his captivating teachings, he’s a really entertaining guy. He’s got one of the best personalities of all the online mentors I’ve seen or learned from over the years.

His stories about his ascent are truly entertaining and quite funny and I think you’d enjoy those as much as I did.

How I’ve Built A 6 Figure Income Online

I’ve got nothing but respect for Harlan as he’s does an incredible job with what he does.

But I’m still a huge believer in the need for multiple sources of income to build massive financial success.

That’s why I’ve been building a lead generation business for so long with so much success. And my income still continues to rise.

It’s a great long-term model because there will always be small businesses in the world and the internet (which is only growing). This coaching program has taught me a skill that brings a tremendous amount of skill to the marketplace.

Check out this pool site that I built and ranked myself. I’ve been getting $650/mo for over 2 years and it’s running on auto-pilot.

Not only have I changed my life but I continue to change the lives of business owners and their families which is amazing.

This skill allowed me to leave my 9 to 5 in only a few months and I make more money now than I ever thought I could.

If this sounds like something you’d like to check out then click here. The program will teach you about leveraging free traffic to generate leads and send them to business owners for compensation.

Four Percent Group, Four Percent Challenge Review

April 12, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

In today’s post we’ll be digging into Vick Strizheus’ 4% Group Challenge and System.

Vick has given affiliate opportunities for the program so there are plenty of people out there doing it just for the ability to sell it to others.

That’s why it’s so hard to find a review online about the program that’s unbiased. Also, when you look at it further it’s beginning to look like a network marketing business.

At the end of the day, it shouldn’t be looked down upon. Vick choosing to allow affiliate opportunities for his product is not a problem as long as said product is delivering real results.

What we’re really going to be discussing is difficulties that people in the program will face and how you can avoid these common challenges that are plaguing affiliate marketers in today’s world.

At the very end of this I’ll get into why I left affiliate marketing behind and went full force with the local lead gen biz. A business that I run daily and have used to make more money than I ever have before.

Vick Strizheus’ Past Allegations

Vick has a very colorful past. He’s been to prison for insurance scams of $30/k. Recordings of him in the court room can be seen on the internet.

Since then he has owned his past mistakes and said he has learned many lessons from them.

But that’s not the only thing in his past. While pushing his Big Idea Mastermind product, he was found guilty of changing affiliate links to benefit him so he could increase his income.

Our review of Vick’s current model won’t be influenced by his past. This will strictly cover the 4% Group.

4% System – How It Works

There are seven segments of this course after you join, they are:

The question is, what are all of these segments built for?

When Vick says “multiple streams of income,” he means that you have to get more lines in the water as an affiliate. You want be promoting different products and offers.

According to him, this is why most affiliate marketers fail.

If you ask me, the biggest reason for failure is coming up short on consistent production of sales. Vick only pushes the use of paid traffic and nothing about the use of free traffic to get eyes on the product.

You’ll find recommendations from Vick about products that he likes to promote, but be careful here because Vick’s getting more commission for it on the down low.

I believe many people already promote these products that he lists so nothing shocked me about the following list of products:

  • Tecademics – used to cost as much as $12k but isn’t currently available
  • Click Magick – $17/mo
  • GetResponse – $15/mo
  • ClickFunnels – $97/mo (this alone is more expensive than the membership to the 4% Group)
  • LeadPages – $37/mo
  • AWeber – $19/mo
  • NameCheap – $10/yr
  • Udimi – varies depending on your ad

Membership Price for 4 Percent Group

Member will also receive a DFY funnel creator where you can enter the affiliate ID that’s given to you to promote the products that Vick recommends (listed before).

Choosing these products and having the funnel pre-built for you is the easy part of this process.

But how will you get people to see it. In other words, how will you direct traffic to the offer/product?

Vick’s Teachings On Traffic Generation

It’s a little bit discouraging that there’s no quality proof out there that the people in his program are seeing solid results from his paid ads strategy.

When I was doing affiliate marketing I tried the same strategy and the results I got weren’t good.

This is a real tricky process for a beginner because you don’t have many profits coming in to be able to afford the ad spend of paid advertising.

Free traffic is absolutely the best answer for being an affiliate but good luck.

Go attempt to rank for “Aweber review” and see how tough it is. Those are some really strong sites on page one of Google.

Several years ago, affiliate marketing was a solid option for people new to online business.

Fast forward to 2019 and it’s a highly competitive space in internet marketing. That’s a big reason that I push local lead gen because it has a much lower level of competition and a beginner can be set up for success.

Okay, so we know the level of difficulty when it comes to doing SEO for these products. So how are his students actually getting traffic and seeing results?

For many, it’s the use of YouTube.

This is a way to generate free traffic just by the use of videos but it really doesn’t take any skill.

Road to Success Using YouTube

According to one in the program, he put up a video every single day for almost a year until he saw a little success with the strategy.

And he did it EVERY DAY!

That’s one hell of a grindy process if you ask me. Competition will only climb as more and more people get into the use of YouTube for this.

Flat out, I don’t like it. And I don’t like the use of a single channel where the idea is to get enough eyes on your product and results from mass volume.

There’s a phrase out there and maybe you’ve heard of it.

Something along the lines of not working hard, but instead focus on working smart.

Now if you have a ton of experience creating YouTube videos, you’re good at it and enjoy it, then yeah maybe this option is a really good one for you.

But if that isn’t you, then this is exactly the reason you need mentors that can teach you skill sets that bring a tremendous amount of value.

What 4 Percent Group Lacks & Why Affiliate Marketing Isn’t Built for Beginners

There’s a motto out there that I believe in a lot. Ready for it?

Momentum creates motivation.

I’d compare building consistent traffic for beginner affiliate marketers to ascending Mt. Everest when you haven’t climbed a mountain in your life.

You need to be very efficient to be able to build the momentum so you can fuel your motivation. If you feel like you fighting an uphill battle your confidence and motivation will tank rather quickly.

If you spend most of your efforts promoting the 4 Percent Group itself, then you’ll be in the group of people that are actually making money.

However, this is becoming a borderline network marketing gig. If you’re spending more time recruiting people to the business opportunity then that is have of the definition of an MLM.

Simply put, it’s not a long-term business model. Google and YouTube simply don’t give enough room on page on of their results.

Plenty of people out there with high-level skills (like me) are already holding down spots on page one of Google for keywords like “4 Percent Group review.”

If you want to promote the 4 Percent Group, there’s nothing wrong with that but you need to have a plan of attack for generating the necessary amount of traffic for yourself.

Remember, there is no training material in this course on skills you need to rank organically.

You need to have a back-up plan if the paid display ads (like Vick teaches) strategy doesn’t work as well as you expected it to.

In Conclusion

There isn’t any high level SEO training in Vick’s course to show you how to leverage free traffic. Instead, he pushes his display ad paid traffic strategy.

On top of that he teaches people how to copy funnels and promote pre selected offers.

I recommended the skill of using of free traffic that you can learn in this lead gen program. Build actual websites and learn how to rank them in Google so you can have assets that pay you monthly.

In local it’s normal to see results much faster and the production of those results create momentum for you. Then you wake up every single day highly motivated to continue building your business.

Becoming an affiliate marketer is not for the beginner. You simply can’t overcome the experienced hot shot marketers out there. They already dominate it.

The only time I would recommend this option is if you already have a huge following. On something like social media platforms where you have an audience that is interested in what you have to say.

If you want to be making more money and you have no audience, then the quickest way to a six figure income is with local lead gen.

The local business changed my life. I was able to quit my 9 to 5 in only a few months.

Now I’m my own boss and I make my own schedule.

I take vacations where I want, when I want.

Just check out this pool site below. I built it around the time that I quit my job and it’s been paying me $650/mo since then on auto-pilot.

The local game gets my vote every time. If you want to get a closer look at it, click here.

50 Books Per Year? MentorBox Review

April 11, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

Founded by Tai Lopez and Alex Mehr, MentorBox is designed to serve you books monthly that will have you reading like a CEO.

Plenty of CEOs and other high-achievers claim to read at least a couple of books per week.

Many of those are capable of skimming pages and only retaining information that they find important.

According to Tai himself, it’s more important to learn one or two things from each book and have 365 lessons than to read only 20 books and have 20 lessons for the years.

MentorBox puts this theory into action by only giving their subscribers notes, worksheets and videos so that you can speed through a book in only an hour or two.

With this simple concept you could consume 50-60 books yearly, as opposed to 3 or 4 books yearly which is as many as most beginning entrepreneurs are consuming.

Sounds like a fantastic concept right?

But will consuming this concise knowledge really lead to income levels like Tai himself?

At this point, we’ve reached the big problem for most up and coming entrepreneurs.

Yes, mindset is incredibly important. I wouldn’t be where I am today without changing my mindset and attitude.

But things like personal development and knowledge acquisition is only a single piece of the pie.

The piece that I believe most entrepreneurs miss is having a high-income skill set.

Yes mindset it important but if you don’t bring value to the marketplace with the skills you possess then you’ll spend a lot of time treading water.

There are too many people out there that get caught up in personal development. It becomes an addiction.

I can speak from experience. Several years ago that was me.

I was reading books and consuming so much knowledge on the internet and I ended up with nothing to show for it.

That was the case until I finally acquired and honed a skill set in late 2015. I went from struggling to make $30k/year to making $10,000/mo which was my first real milestone.

I went from a 9 to 5 that I absolutely hated waking up for every day to working from my laptop and making my own schedule. I can run this business from anywhere in the world.

More on that later though.

You need to be honing your high-income skill and business acumen. And then when you take knowledge from successful people it only launches you further.

We’re going to dig into MentorBox and see if it’s worth the monthly investment.

Pricing & What Comes With MentorBox

Your subscription will get you continuous education material that utilizes four different methods of learning:

Reading. Kinesthetic. Auditory. Visual.

You can choose to receive your material either digitally or physically and those come with two different pricing plans.

The digital subscription is $7/mo and the physical subscription is $89/mo.

You get the following features when you become a member:

  • over 500 hours of video lessons
  • access to the online learning section that you can use to look up books and essential lessons
  • audio recordings of a ton of books
  • workbooks you can download
  • cheat sheets that you can use to speed read and for memory retention
  • mastermind community for MentorBox subscribers
  • many other study materials
  • option to upgrade from digital to physical at any time

When you choose to upgrade you get the following features:

  • two or three books (physical copy)
  • video summary (usb drive)
  • workbooks for each
  • cheat sheet for each
  • study material
  • bookmark
  • magnet

I’ve always wanted to be able to read faster and retain information in doing so. For people like me this is a really good option.

There are CEO’s out there that have their assistants read books for them and relay the information so they can take all the knowledge from it quicker.

If you use all of the materials they give you to the fullest extent, there’s no doubt in my mind you’ll find great value in the subscription.

Yes, it saves a lot of time. I believe the most important thing to realize is the increased rate of book consumption. That can’t be denied.

MentorBox: Good’s and Bad’s

The Good’s:

  • you’ll read books you might’ve never found
  • gain more knowledge from a higher quantity books than if you read them cover to cover
  • field experts share lessons beyond the reading of the material
  • read well-known, popular books
  • consume the material anywhere with the digital subscription
  • tons of extra material (workbooks, cheat sheets, videos) that increases comprehension
  • establish consuming knowledge as a habit

The Bad’s:

  • for some audio books are a much more efficient way of learning
  • many upsells included
  • the sales page claims aggressive results
  • you can’t select which books you want

Mastering Continuous Learning

When I first started my journey as an entrepreneur back in late 2012, I consumed as much personal development as I could.

Books or videos, you name it and I did it.

I learned about a range of concepts. Positive thinking, law of attraction, psychology and even understanding the subconscious mind.

It really was a rabbit hole that I shouldn’t have gone down. I spent way too much time consuming knowledge and not enough time spent on taking action and honing my skills.

I absolutely retained a lot of that information and it still helps me to this day but I began focusing more on my level of action as well as the high-income skill that’s gotten me to the point I’m at today.

I went from struggling to earn $30k/year to $10k/mo owning an online business.

Everything changed for me when I started to master high-income skills.

I began learning the necessary skills when I joined a coaching program. I learned how to generate leads for small local businesses by utilizing free traffic.

Leads are the lifeblood of any business. Meaning it brings extreme value to the marketplace. Meaning it’s a high-income skill.

This is when my life changed because I already developed the necessary mindset years earlier and when I coupled it with the skills I learned, it took off.

Your skill set is what’s going to determine your income.

The majority of personal development books have great messages, but they’re too broad in topic.

The name “MentorBox” can be very tricky IMO. The knowledge you gain from MentorBox’s service is far different from having a mentor.

I have a great mentor and he’s a huge reason why I’m here today. He’s been a much larger reason I’m where I am now than any book I’ve ever read.

An actual mentor will show you the in’s and out’s of a process so you can achieve certain results.

They will also be there to push you to hit much higher goals.

A good mentor will teach you what’s gotten them to where they are and how to replicate the success using the exact same skills.

High-income skills are different than skills.

These are skills that will produce at least $100,000-$120,000/year or at least $10k/mo.

There are a ton of different skills out there that can produce these results but few result in the ability to scale a business.

That was local lead gen for me. The skill of lead generation using free traffic for local businesses.

I love this model because it’s very easy to get started with and scale as a beginner compared to other models out there.

After you begin seeing traffic to your site, it doesn’t just stop. You can consistently grow the traffic and raise your income.

This thing has the ability to run on auto-pilot. I don’t work for a couple of days and I still wake up with money in my account.

You must have the ability to to do other things and still make money. Then you can become rich.

MentorBox can absolutely help you establish a mindset but it’s really just an enhanced way to consume a book.

Go out and ask any successful business owner, they launched their businesses to another level when brought on mentors.

Take it from Dan Lok, “All those things help. Books, audio programs, seminars but I know for me I’m where I’m at today because of mentors.”

Get yourself a mentor if you aren’t at the point of making $10,000/mo yet.

With a mentor you can learn the necessary skill set to product a high income.

Particularly a skill that will lead to you bringing a tremendous amount of value to the market.

I’ll say this time and time and time again… the local lead gen biz is one of the best skills and one of the most scalable business models out there today.

It’s absolutely easier to scale than SMM, eCommerce or affiliate type marketing.

Using free traffic to generate leads gives you incredible power in the marketplace.

Kevin King’s Freedom Ticket Course Review

April 11, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

Kevin King has built a detailed and in-depth Amazon FBA training that he has titled Freedom Ticket.

The name means what you think it means. Kevin’s giving you a way to the life that you know you deserve.

The question is, is this course really the ticket?

A few years back I quit my 9 to 5 and went from struggling to make $30k/year to now doing multiple six figures with my local lead gen biz.

Since I’ve gotten my own ticket to freedom, life has been completely amazing. Not that I didn’t love my life before but life has been so much better as I now get to wake up everyday with the ability to increase my income.

Now, I love to work. I don’t dread waking up every single day because now I get paid what I’m worth to the marketplace.

The fact that I love waking up every day is without a doubt the biggest blessing of them all.

Plus, I’m my own boss and let’s face it. That’s pretty freakin’ sweet.

I can work my own hours around my family’s schedule, wake up late if I choose to and make money doing something I enjoy.

When I run into an aspect of my business that I don’t like to do then I just hire someone else to do it. No problem.

IMO it’s not really about how much money you’re making but rather how you feel when you’re making it.

After I established the success of my local lead gen biz, I began to explore eCommerce, selling on Shopify or Amazon.

And Kevin is a dude that I learned a lot from and followed early on in this portion of my journey in online business.

If you are intrigued by selling physical products on the Amazon platform then please continue reading because I’m about to do a brief course review.

Things we’ll cover:

  • challenges of an Amazon business
  • Kevin King’s tips
  • how does it compare to the lead gen biz

Overview – Freedom Ticket

Kevin’s training will show you all you to need know to launch a successful Amazon business.

A brief bulleted overview would look like this:

  • product research and niche selection
  • sourcing product – finding suppliers, samples, etc.
  • ordering bulk
  • optimizing your listing
  • inventory management and handling customer feedback
  • waiting until the listing gets to page 1

He offers about 21 hours worth of training in the course and adds additional bonuses as well. And these bonuses are rather substantial.

The beauty of his course (at least to me) is how direct the course is. He doesn’t have any “filler” material in the training. It’s all very detail-oriented and relevant information.

For that reason, I really like Kevin’s style.

Tips From Kevin Himself

Kevin suggests that the beginner invest in tips that will go a long way in assisting product research.

A couple of these tools include ASINspector and Jungle Scount.

According to him, researching the product is the most vital aspect of the whole business.

Not to say that the system is fail-safe, but he does share a variety of metrics that he likes to follow for product selection.

Unfortunately, this is the point that paralysis by analysis comes in. A lot of people get stuck at this stage of the game because they’re fearful of making the wrong decision.

Just don’t do that. Don’t be that person.

It’s inevitable that you’ll make the wrong selection at some point. I’m sure if you asked Kevin himself he would tell you he still selects products that don’t perform as well as expected.

If you choose a bad product it won’t be the end of the world. You’ll learn from it and you move on.

If you choose a product that is at least in demand, you’ll have a way out. You could just move the price point down and liquify the inventory that you have.

Kevin’s second tip is all about vetting the suppliers you’re considering.

After the initial stage of product selection make sure you acquire samples from multiple suppliers.

This should be done to ensure that you’re going with the highest quality product. Even if it isn’t the cheapest, you’ll avoid poor reviews and customer returns which will be a real pain.

Amazon’s Future

Every year Amazon is adding to and making improvements to it’s delivery system.

Most of us have heard about their plans to implement drone delivery methods.

There are multiple cities out there that now have one hour delivery options.

Check out these stats:

  • increased net sales by 31% from 2016 to 2017 ($136 billion to $177.9 billion)
  • 70% of of Americans making $160k/year or more have registered Amazon Prime accounts

I think we all know it’s a safe assumption that Amazon isn’t going anywhere for quite a long time.

Challenges You’ll Encounter in the Amazon Business

Competition continues to rise for all products as more and more people enter the Amazon FBA game.

You really need to reach page 1 of the search results before you can expect to make any money.

Only 30% make it to page 2! That’s a study that’s been done.

There’s only room for about 10-15 on the first page.

It was a lot easier to make it to page 1 a few years ago. These days not only is it harder to get there but it takes significantly longer than it did then.

Couple less competition with the ability to create false reviews and it becomes clear how much harder it’s gotten.

Amazon has since expanded it’s efforts to seek out and remove fake reviews.

You now need to be able to convert your listing and have a high quality product which will then lead to great reviews.

A lot of people in Amazon FBA are searching for suppliers in the same places which means it’s more difficult to find a product that stands above the pack.

There are times when you’ll find a top notch supplier but when there are other sellers selling the same product it still results in high competition.

You can combat that with better optimization and great branding.

There’s also an element of unpredictability with the model. Amazon has the right to make any changes they deem necessary on Amazon FBA sellers so you could be in a constant battle keeping up with the platform.

Look back just a couple years ago when they took away false reviews. People freaked out.

It’s important to understand that changes will come. It’s a world that’s always changing.

You have to accept that and be prepared to accept the challenge.

Local Lead Gen vs. Amazon FBA

Picking a great product is becoming a lot more difficult as more people move into becoming Amazon FBA sellers.

Just a short bit ago I launched a couple products myself and they both returned nothing.

The more people that move into this business, the more similar the products being sold are. There are only so many suppliers out there and people are turning to branding instead of finding better products.

Bottom line – it’s tough to stick out from the crowd with so much competition.

I have had positive experiences selling on Amazon and had some decent ROIs but my bread and butter is still my local lead gen business.

Here are just a few of the many perks of the local lead gen biz…

Lower level of competition leads to quicker results.

Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.

You offer a digital service which means much less hassle on the back end.

The business is fantastic for people that are new to online business. It’s easier due to competition level and you’ll see results sooner.

I don’t want to disrespect the Amazon FBA business because like I said I’ve made money there but you have to be prepared to push through a lot of crap especially at the beginning.

I won’t sit here and tell you that you will 100% succeed in the local lead gen model, but I can tell you that the success rate is significantly higher.

You’ll have the ability to get multiple projects set up quicker.

In Conclusion

Kevin King has done a phenomenal job with the Freedom Ticket course. I’ve seen and been through other Amazon FBA courses and his is as good as they come.

You’ll find everything you need to succeed in this course and he is incredibly direct and detail-oriented.

Be prepared to treat this business the same way you would any other. Like a real business.

It will take a lot of work to get it to the point where it changes your financial life and it’ll have to be among your top priorities for quite a while.

Do every single thing that Kevin teaches and soak in as much information as possible. Take action on all of the things in this course.

Be prepared to dust yourself off if your first product is a flop. You’ll have those but you need to move onto the next.

Making money on the internet is all about the level of action you take. Those who take action, win.

IMO it’s all about the mindset you have and how it affects your level of action.

I didn’t start making money online until I got my mindset right. I changed my attitude, took more action and things started happening for me.

You need to be prepared to take massive action over the long-term. Anyone who tells you that you’ll get rich in a week or a month is lying to you.

You need to understand that patience and persistence are of the utmost importance.

Take this blog for instance. When I first started this I was hardly getting any readers.

I would still spend a few hours a day just to churn out one blog post. You will inevitably have doubts especially early on in your internet career.

But if you have a process that works, you learn the skill and you’re persistent, you will find success.

Search for the high income skills that bring value to society and you’ll be compensated accordingly.

Continue to work on the skill, other people do it so why can’t you?

The difference between the winners and the losers online?

The winners never gave up, even when they had doubts. They continued to learn and master their skill.

The money will follow.

Finding success with Amazon FBA is a skill.

Doing lead generation for local small businesses by ranking a website on Google is a skill.

Ranking a blog is a skill.

If you master a high income skill, a high level income will follow.

This pool site below is a site that I built around the time I left my 9 to 5. It’s been paying me $650/mo on auto-pilot and this is only one of the many clients that I now have.

This business has completely changed my life.

I’m my own boss. Make my own schedule.

I take vacations when I want, where I want.

If you’d like to check out how this business works then feel free to click here for more so you can get a better feel for it.

13 Months of Success Laws, Bob Proctor Review

April 9, 2019 by Shiv Aiyar

The first time I came across Bob Proctor was back in late 2012 when I joined an MLM and was recommended to watch the Secret.

From that point forward, I was addicted to personal development. Since that day I’ve been absolutely fascinated with how powerful the human mind is.

The subconscious mind. Affirmations. Spirituality.

As a young 18 year old college freshman I bought into the concept of mind over matter. It wasn’t hard to convince me that I could change my reality by changing my thoughts.

After a couple of years of continuing to struggle and remaining financially broke, I began to realize that something was wrong. There must be more.

After several years I figured out that I worked so hard on my mindset but I failed to develop a high income skill. Without that skill I wasn’t bringing any real value to the marketplace.

So yeah, I do believe in mindset. But I also realize that there’s another piece to the puzzle.

I do follow Bob to this day and that’s why I picked up his program and I figured I would give a review on it from somebody who has experienced Bob’s teachings for several years now.

Bob’s course is great, the mindset training is great. But you won’t acquire any real skill from it.

That’s why I’m a huge fan of this lead gen program. When I coupled my mindset with this program and built my local lead gen biz, I was on a fast track to six figures. Now I help small businesses all across the country acquire more customers.

  6. Secret Science of Getting Rich
  7. You Were Born Rich

This program is made up of a series of videos created by Bob, it isn’t a one on one program.

Also, there isn’t any ongoing level of support coming from Bob. It’s just a series of videos and once you buy the program you can revisit the video series as often as you’d like.

I think the most heard complaint about Bob’s program is the repetitive nature. Some of the concepts are just repeated time and time again.

The two most popular sections of the course would have to be the Secret Science of Getting Rich and the 11 Forgotten Laws.

These are the two areas that get the most positive attention from people who have experienced this coaching program.

Personally, they were my two favorite sections of the program too.

Does The Law of Attraction (LoA) Work?

I believe that the law of attraction will only help someone to an extent.

The one very valuable thing that I took away from all my law of attraction studies was the ability to be more self-aware. Especially aware of my thoughts.

There is undoubtedly a tangible benefit and effect when you become more self-aware.

I realize that the person I am today is completely different than the person I was in 2012. The person back then couldn’t have seen the level of success that this person has.

We have battles on our journey to success. I’ve had to overcome things that I didn’t like about myself. Things that I naturally would’ve rather pushed away and ignored but knew they had to change.

There is no level of certainty in my mind for the “secret” or LoA being core reasons for the level of success I’ve seen to this point.

For me, it feels like this is a more logical explanation.

I found an incredible mentor that taught me a few high income skills and when I couple it with mindset, magic happened.

I acquired the skill of local lead generation. I use free web traffic to fuel a multiple six figure income.

Looking back to 2012, I was spending a ridiculous amount of time reading books and researching how the mind controls reality, just hoping that my life would change and I’d achieve financial goals.

Nothing ever happened. I was still as broke as I ever was.

Positive thinking doesn’t mean a damn thing unless you’re taking real action and bringing value to the market. Period.

If you think about it, many people who practice the law of attraction are actually making a ton of money teaching it.

I encourage you to go out and do some research on the most successful people in the world. See what they all have in common.

They worked their asses off for years just to develop a set of skills that set them apart from the rest of the crowd.

That’s why they’re worth billions of dollars. Those skills allowed them to do the things necessary to bring billions in value to the world.

You only get paid what you’re worth friends.

Not many of the worlds richest business people and entrepreneurs will rave about the law of attraction. They sure as hell won’t tell you it’s the reason for their success.

Mindset is the rock solid foundation. Things like positivity, opimism and self-awareness are all attributes needed to become a successful person. But just remember, there’s more.

Think about it, professional basketball players will discuss the importance of have a great mindset.

That doesn’t mean that they don’t have to spend hours upon hours upon hours in the gym to be one of the greatest of all time. The work never stops.

Making a lot of money and having financial success is no different. Honing your skills never stops.

There is no “secret” or formula out there for achieving wealth. Society has turned wealth into such a mystical concept.

It’s because society has a poor understanding of wealth creation. Nobody educates themselves on it.

People stick to their old ways and don’t want you to tell them that they don’t know something.

Wealth and riches can agitate people. They think it can only be achieved by a select few.

That last part is actually true. Only a few can do it. But it isn’t because they have superpowers or they were “chosen.”

It’s because not many people are willing to work hard enough to develop skills and a mindset.

The Elementary, Rudimentary Definition of Money

What is money? Sounds silly right?

Believe it or not most people don’t even look at money correctly. Most look at money and see paper that’s either worth one dollar or twenty dollars and equate it to something they can buy at the store.

I’ve been through many successful mentors and coaches over the last few years and here’s the greatest definition of money.

“Money is scarce, in-demand resources.”

What does that mean?

It means if you want to make a lot of money, you have to possess skills that make you scarce. In other words, skills that not many others have.

Quick example. A professional basketball player will make more money than a cop or a roofer.

There are way more people out there with the skill to be a cop or a roofer than there are people that can play basketball on a professional level.

So to this point we’ve discussed what we all must do to be entrepreneurs.

Find and master skills that can solve peoples problems.

Your income will be determined by how rare the skill is.

Don’t just work on your mindset. Always be working on both the mindset and the skill set.

It’s incredibly easy to get stuck and start spinning your tires when you’re too focused on mindset.

If you’ve done some mindset training recently or in the past, then that’s a fantastic first step. Now it’s time for you to seek out a mentor who can teach you some high income skills just like I did.

Let’s take a closer look at Bob Proctor as an example.

Bob’s been very successful and makes more money than most people. But it’s not just because of his teachings, it’s also because IMO he has a very effective and elite skill.

The art of persuasion.

He’s a high level communicator. He’s has an innate ability to convey his messages in very captivating ways to get people excited and following his concepts.

That is the skill that makes him the money and led him to success IMO. He touches the lives of so many people because of his ability to persuade and influence

Not mental exercises.

Honestly, some of these skills just aren’t for all people out there.

Enter natural born talents.

Athletics is probably the most obvious example of God given talent showing itself in a professional setting. In sports, players are put in position to succeed based on their natural gifts (maybe height or speed).

But entrepreneurship is no different. We have to take advantage of what we’re good at to get ahead.

School doesn’t teach us these things. And people wonder why most of society is crippled by money.

In Conclusion

There are some success principles here that I believe are beneficial to practice.

But take it from me, a guy who has experience, it’s a huge mistake if you walk away thinking these mindset principles will be all you need to succeed in life.

Especially your financial success.

That’s like telling yourself that you can play professional basketball because you’ve got your mind right. When in reality you haven’t played basketball since you were in elementary school.

Sounds ridiculous.

It doesn’t matter how much you visualize what you want in your life, if you don’t practice and exercise the skills to get it, it won’t happen.

Many people have work ethic and positive outlooks naturally, but what they lack is the high-level skill.

I’ve completely reversed how I spend my time. Back in the day I would spend 85% of my time on mental exercises. I was broke.

Nowadays, I spend 85% mastering skill sets like ranking websites and generating leads for local businesses. I’m not broke anymore, not even close.

For me, there’s been a correlation between me increasing my skill level and increasing my income level.

I like Bob Proctor’s products, I think they’re great. In this program I particularly enjoyed the Secret Science of Getting Rich and the 11 Forgotten Laws.

It really isn’t that hard to change your mindset but you have to be at a place in your life where you’re ready to go all in for success.

Honestly, many people aren’t willing to go all in and commit to their dreams.

Get yourself a mentor that will teach you a high income skill!

Could be several things. eCommerce. Digital marketing. Speaking. Sales.

Whatever it is that intrigues you.

Too many people in this world live a life full of fear. That’s why they never pull the trigger and chase what they want.

You should start making proactive decisions because if not then future circumstances will make those decisions for you.

People want everything to stay the same. No change. Same and stable.

Go back and study history. Look for the cyclical nature of how life goes. It’s almost like the seasons changing.

Devastating economical situations as well.

Having a job with a set salary is no more secure than being an entrepreneur IMO.

As an employee, if you’re company goes under and you’re out of a job then what? You say you go get another one with a steady salary.

I, as an entrepreneur, am consistently working on improving and adding to my skill set. Skills that nobody can take away from me.

Skills that allow me to get paid what I’m worth to the world. And if I’m doing it right then this means an increasing income.

It’s important to be self-aware and keep limiting beliefs in check but it’s just as important to develop those skills. Those two will equal high income.

The skill that allowed me to accomplish my early financial goals was generating leads for local small business owners.

I went from making $1,800/mo to $10,000/mo in short order. This coaching program taught me everything I needed to get there.

Many people have the philosophies about wealth and success but then ya gotta move on to practical skills that allows you to service other people’s needs.

Your skill set is the determining factor in your income potential.

IMO many practitioners of the law of attraction take the idea too far. They think our thoughts are way more powerful than that actually are.

It’s important to be aware of how the world operates and act accordingly. You need to be able to put yourself in advantageous positions.

Money will flow to the skills. Period.

I’m so happy I found lead generation using free traffic because the skill set is in high demand (leads/customers are the lifeblood of any business).

Also, it’s very scarce because few people actually know how to beat the search engines.

We build very simple lead generation web sites like the one below. I build it, rank it and then rent the leads to business owners in the area. Simple as that.

The one below is a pool site that I built around the same time that I quit my 9 to 5. It’s been bringing me $650/mo for over two years now on auto-pilot.

I went from grinding away at a 9 to 5, to being my own boss.

Making my own hours.

Taking vacation when I want, where I want.

New car.
